It feels so off to me not having a special engineering class-only scope to choose from this expansion. I hope we see a come back soon I hate using what everyone else uses aka mana oils. It’s just not as pleasing. Anyone else feel like this or is it just me?
Also, we not getting any new patterns for t2 or am I trippin’? I haven’t seen any information on them.
No, being locked into the really bad scopes all of dragonflight sucked. Enchants are always going to be more powerful.
Yes, it’s very frustrating. But I wouldn’t expect any changes given the engineering profession talent trees.
I mean, whether you are using a scope or a window enchant is really just meaningless window dressing from a Hunter gameplay perspective.
From an Engineering perspective, yes, it is a loss, but considering Engineering doesn’t need that value. Considering how low value almost all professions are unless you’re a hardcore trader at the start of a profession, Engineering is OP since it provides so much inherent value, even when the current expansion schematics are crap because so much of the old stuff is still so useful: Loot-a-rang (basically makes the profession worth taking itself until Fetch is fixed to be more responsive), parachute tinker (great for mace ping with disengage), wormhole portals, repair bots/bank access, wipe recovery, etc.
At this point, any character I seriously play is an engineer and it would stay thy way, even if they added absolutely nothing else in any of the future expansions.
Thats the kicker… 99% of engineering that we activly use is from more than a decade ago.
Sure the gun is nice as they took the bow away from LW. However engineering needs to have GOOD helms and bracers as the current versions are stright crap.
The absolutely abysmal state of tinkers this expansion is pathetic and a joke.
I think the best items for Engineering are the portals for each expansion and the lootarang.
The bombs this expac are weird, too.
