I agree blizzard did a good thing buffing frostbolt damage, because it was soooo low.
But WHY? WHY? No Deep Freeze Back?
Many classes got their old abilities back, why blizzard insists in not making frost mages viable again in pvp?
Just look at the frost mages back in WOTLK that was a work of art.
Also, please get that flurry away and give us frostfire bolt.
Please please, make another specs viables besides fire.

I prefer flurry over frostfirebolt though. Flurry has more synergy with the spec than frostfire bolt. But It could be a glyph.
But flurry looks generic as opposed to frost fire bolt.

Deepfreeze was giving mage way too much control. Would need to be either RoF or deepfreeze.
Blizz never been able to balance mage back in the days of deepfreeze. They were either OP from having too much control + burst or weak when their burst was too low.
Back in the day was a very different game. Frost was way ahead of the curve back then but right now they are well behind and need something to help bring them back up to par. Giving them deep freeze wouldn’t put them over the top it would help bring them up to par compared to warriors/spriest/Fire/etc.
What is deep frezee do?
When a target is stuck in a freeze effect, think Frost Nova/Pet nova/etc, it allowed them to be stunned for 4 seconds, if I remember correctly the duration may of been 6. Against NPCs that couldn’t be stunned, bosses, it just did a large amount of damage to them.
What about DB sheep/RoF though? Seems like deep freeze would be the instant CC that frost is sorely lacking. People talk about the combust goes like they’re the main reason fire is strong right now, but I really think it’s the DB setups. Frost feels so naked compared to fire for this reason, and being more prone to interrupts because everything they have is on one school, and it’s their damage school. The difference between frost and fire in tools available when interrupted is huge. Frost fire bolt as a fire spell for frost mages and deep freeze would be very welcome additions to the frost kit.
No this is a terrible word. And when people say this word you know their full of crap. Its not about synergy. Just use the damn move. Bring back frostfire bolt and deep freeze. Synergy is for people that arent very good at the game and cant figure out stuff on their own.

Back in the day you got a brain freeze proc that enable frostfire bolt to be instant, thats it. Frostfire bolt never provided winter’s chill on the target to then shatter ice lance.
Frost rotation was basically just cast frostbolt to get a FoF proc or brain freeze proc. Our mastery increased the dmg to frozen targets, which was good for pvp but bad for raiding. Bosses could not be frozen.
Flurry giving winter’s chill, you can shatter any frost spell, not only ice lance.
I agree. Blizz, you need to take a look at this and take it seriously. A lot of people want Deepfreeze back and its the utility frost mages need to get back into being balanced again. Every other class has so much in their kit now. Every class has a stun. Why not frost mages. We are so squishy to begin with. We are outperformed by literally every class now. How is this honestly not being considered. More damage wont fix the class. Its the way the class functions that is the issue.
like I honestly can not believe Blizz thinks Hunters, Pallies, Rogues are balanced and fair while giving frost mages their stun back is going too far. Like I don’t stand a chance against a hunter as is as mage. What’s the point? I might as well ditch my mage and reroll to one of the Flavor of the month OP AF classes right now. Like why even have mage. Just delete the class.
