This is the first expansion since the game started that I haven’t been in alpha or beta and tbh I’m fine with it. I don’t have time to test busted games anymore and you can burn yourself out on the expansion before it even starts with nothing to show for it.
Your io is high but do you do MDI? If you want an invite for being special I don’t think 3800 io is special enough.
it has definitely got a lot of stuff that needs fixed.
My hunter pet is one shotting everything, lol. My attacks seem just about right…but the first pet attack kills anything it hits.
makes for fast game play, but I may as well be a 120 instead of a 45, lol
That’s because they literally stated the /1st day/ would be family of Blizz and content creators.

If it makes you feel any better, beta testing’s kind of a double-edged sword. I got to beta test Legion. I enjoyed it at the time, but once the expansion actually launched, it was sort of a letdown. The realization that I was going to have to level up the same characters again by doing all the same content, in particular, was especially joy-sucking.
Beta testing an expansion is like… snooping to find out what all your presents are going to be on Christmas. And then being disappointed when there are zero surprises.

I actually just got the beta last night. And I was surprised, because I didn’t think I would be someone who would be chosen. But, I guess I got lucky.
Well obviously. Beta waves weren’t going out until now. In Alpha it was dedicated testers, content creators, and F&F.

They have a template server so you can skip all the leveling and just do endgame stuff.

Ive had beta for a while, ion’s blizzard doesn’t listen to feedback so no thanks find your unpaid tester elsewhere.

It’s honestly funny how wrong this is on so many different levels.
Why would you want to play Beta anyways? It’s not like Blizzard listens to your feedback. You’re just there to stress test their servers for free.
This, again, is extremely untrue.

Perhaps do things that would increase your chances of being picked for beta?
For example, to appease the RNG gods, you could do nightly sacrifices of gnomes (real ones, not those mechanical things). Get creative!
As another example, to appease the Blizz gods, send them some boxes of cookies or edible arrangements. Maybe if you are nice to them, then they will be nice to you.

I’ve never had a Beta invite in all my WoW years. I don’t expect anything different this year. I would love to see “the email” inviting me, but I’ll just wait and be excited to see it for the first time on release day if I don’t get it.

Your not getting beta at this right, don’t even worry about it. Wife got it, I didn’t. Idc tho, more content for me to be amazed at when we play it with no spoilers.

After “stress testing” last year, I will happily pass this time. I have never been so frustrated just sitting forever in queue only to get booted as I was finally logging in. That was a total waste of a night.
