STILL falling through Silithus

Why is this still happening? I’ve been falling through the world ever since arriving in Silithus on THE FIRST DAY OF PREPATCH!!! I have tried everything.

I have tried the character unstuck service several times
I have put in tickets
I have deleted and reinstalled WoW and all its files
I have deleted all my addons
I have sent Blizz emails

I was so excited for TWW I returned after a significant time away
I took time off work for this

They don’t even respond anymore. The last message I received was 3 weeks ago informing me they had resolved the issue. As soon as I log in I instantly d/c so I can’t hearth or get a summon.

This might be the end of wow for me. I cannot re roll a toon I’ve been playing since 2008

i thought this would work. a “GM” could simply put you in some inn somewhere or something.

friday i had my warrior the same problem used a scroll and fell threw them map but the unstuck feature helped me

Did you post your issues and what you’ve tried in the Customer Support forum so that they can try to help?

Are you able to group with a warlock and get summoned?

will not work out you will fall get dc quicker then a summon can save you
log in get dc its that fast

I had a similar issue and the self unstuck didn’t work.

use that link and open a ticket. They moved my character to Stormwind and I was able to log in again.

Imagine how much slower it would have felt if you were a mage. I suppose even falling can get boring after you’ve been doing it long enough.

I had tis happen a few times before. I had to log out and stay out of that character for about and hour or so (though one time did take a ticket to get unstuck* and just play another one for awhile. eventually the server goes wtf is this? and tosses you at a graveyard. Just takes awhile.

What makes it worse is trying to navigate that gods awful BS maze they call a ticketing system. I usually open my tickets straight from BNET website.

This only works in instanced content. In the open world you just keep on falling.

I was falling thru Goldshire. it works.

Strange. Shouldn’t be working that way for the open world normally doesn’t reset in a way instanced content resets. I still have a character falling unter Stormwind. He’s been there for over a month now.

Sorry this is happening, happened to me on one of my toons and the auto unstuck did not work for a while, I think it was overwhelmed. But eventually self service unstuck got me out.

I’m nervous every time I use that scroll on an alt now tho.

As far as Support, I always get an automated email at first and then often a human next. It’s important to be very clear and concise. and keep trying without being a jerk.

But I’ll say again the self service unstuck is what will save you probably

i don’t remember any scroll sending me to silithus… i must be losing my mind

I remember getting stuck in a lava pool at the start of DF, I just kept falling, it was eternally deep and I couldn’t use unstuck.

I logged out put in a ticket and it took about a week to get my toon back.

They did explain that it was a glitch and went into some detail about what happened, I actually forget exactly what it was as it had northing to do with lava or anything. It was something to so with the dragon riding UI.
