What is being done to reimburse players that are not able to use the creation catalyst. Blizzard needs to provide us tokens or gear replacement for items that cannot be transformed in the CC. This breaks many people’s set bonuses or makes the player play with a lower level item. IF ilvl did not matter this would not be a big issue, however if you are not a member of a guild that raids this late in the tier or a player that just came back, this is very detrimental to our overall gaming experience.
If Fated items are meant to be used at the Creation Catalyst, and you are not able to do so, then you will need to post in the Bug Report Forum.
Blizzard is not likely going to give you anything extra as “reimbursement”. Making gear decisions is the very essence of the game. Sometimes breaking a set bonus is a better choice, and sometimes using a slightly lower item level to keep the set bonus is better. That’s a decision you have to make, and there’s no “give me different gear so I don’t have to choose”.
Since this appears to have been moved to correct forum, please list the actual item you are not able to convert. Most items can be, but if you find one that cannot there may be a specific reason, or it may be an oversight, so they need to know which one to fix it.
