Still can't mine while mounted - since xpac launch

I am dismounted each time I mine an ore node. I have 60 knowledge points in “Mining fundamentals” which claims it allows mining while mounted. I get no error message; I’m just dismounted each time I start to mine a node.

Are you actually on the ground while mounted or are you hovering? The profession perk allows you to stay mounted but your mount must be on the ground.

It’s very easy to think you’re on the ground but you are actually just barely floating.

Edit: Also to add since no zones were mentioned, this perk only works in TWW zones. Dragonflight has their own version of this perk to get. Older zones will always dismount you.

Nope this happens if I’m hovering, if I’m on the ground, and yes, I know only in TWW zones.
