Anyone else having issues getting on? I freeze at retrieving realm list screen is black.

Yeah I’m having issues too it’s lagging at the enter world loading screen.

then it takes me back to character selection screen and says character not found.

I logged off a little while ago. It’s getting to be prime time so…wouldn’t surprise me if the servers start acting up again. I was experiencing a little lag before I logged though.

Edit: Yep, looks like the servers have caught fire again.

Yes, took a while at retrieving realm list and now got to realm list with no characters showing on realms.

I can’t get in either. I’m getting “character not found” when trying to load in.

Yeah I am getting the same thing None of my Characters are showing up in any of my realms

Little disappointing to be running into all these issues despite pre-patch and SL being delayed. Good thing there’s isn’t a 2K emissary out there that I want to do 12 times over and would have done yesterday and tonight if I could reliably log in and out of alts. Cause otherwise that’d really suck.

I got the black character selection and restarting the game fixed it for me.

Glad to know it wasn’t just me… was troubleshooting addons and suddenly the “Retrieving realm list” just stays and eventually I see the list but no characters available. At least Blizz is consistent with their (pre-)XP launches! :smiley:

Same, I can’t believe how stooly things are with the prepatch so far.

Made the mistake of swapping toons, not realizing there were issues. Kept getting “Character not found” so tried relogging. Now getting black character selection screen.

The fact I can’t log in again amuses me to no end.

Same. Was working on creating a character and I kept getting a timeout message. Now when I try to connect to a realm there is just a massive wait and then no characters are displayed when the realm does load.

Getting an error on character creation atm.
