Still can’t find a main to stick with

I’m a Wrath baby altoholic that’s wants to settle down with a main and maybe 1 alt. I’ve got warrior, shaman, hunter, and priest around level 10 on different servers and factions.warrior seems very desired by groups, but it’s painful to level. Hunter seems quirky but interesting while shaman and priest seem the most consistent and reliable. I like healing and tanking less so, but most of all I want to be useful. Help! Advice wanted.

What do you want us to say? Stick with one and stop making alts lol.

I highly recommend continuing with your warrior. They are always sought after in dungeons and you’ll be almost guaranteed a raid spot if raiding is something you want to do.

Yes, you will be asked to tank almost exclusively, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to go defensive stance with a shield to do it. Invest in the Arms skill tree and equip a good 2hander, use sunder armour, thunderclap and demoralising shout to hold aggro. This is alot more fun than going the full tank route AND you deal a bucketload more damage.

Leveling can be a pain and is slower than other classes due to gear-dependancy and not having any in-built sustain. But one of the most rewarding parts about warriors is when you get that badass new weapon and you feel like a god for a few levels (whirlwind axe will be your biggest powerspike).

Make sure you level first-aid and cooking. The bonus health and spirit from cooking will help regen health a bit faster between mobs and first-aid helps for obvious reasons.

I currently have a level 34 Arms warrior and it’s been a challenging journey, but it’s been heaps of fun and I love being able to get into groups basically whenever I want. I also got the Corpsemaker axe from RFK which is a massive powerspike which will be followed by an even bigger spike once I finish the warrior quest for WW axe.

P.S. Plate gear is also an awesome perk. You’ll be super tanky even as a full dps.

If you don’t like being a tank or healer, don’t be a tank or healer.

Tanks are usually the most desired role. Healers a very close second.

I personally love hybrid classes. Their versatility always struck a chord with me.

I’m sorry if I was unclear, but I like healing (the most), tanking (second), and DPS the least

Go priest for your main. The most versatile healer in the game. You’ll always be useful. Then you can try to alt the warrior (if you’re enjoying it) or just play the quirky hunter.

Try taking those classes to 20, you get alot of tools that really help them all come into their own, just keep trying until you find the right class, when I started in 1.8 I tried every class before trying warrior and taking that to 60 and playing it for 3 expansions.

I’m in the same situation OP, I suck at being decisive in general though. :frowning:
