My mini-rant here.
Simply put, making a rare recipe only drop from one boss, and making it BoE has made this recipe a nightmare to get. In the last four weeks, I have begun rotating nine characters into Nerub-ar Palace wing two, to try and get the last recipe that I need in the expansion.
The recipe is a rare drop, and sells for 60,000 gold on my server because anyone can roll on it. It’s been frustrating to say the least.
Correct me if I am wrong, if it drops in a raid and everyone rolls NEED, it becomes BOP no? Greed rolls only lets you stick it in ah yes?
I’m not sure. I have been running after it for weeks. I am watching the prices and if it drops a bit I will buy it. My concern is that when the new content arrives, it will be more difficult to get a run in the wing I need.
The raid recipes drops did migrate to the next raid in DF. Completionism aside (I know that urge all too well) does it have a particular use? Cause reading it, I come up with nothing. Before I shell 50k at it really.
I don’t see a use. I am in the completionist minority. My epicurean Pandaren is collecting every cooking recipe that I can get. I am definitely not the mainstream.
P.S. I ended up purchasing it on the Auction House.
