Recently, I’ve noticed a change and cannot locate the setting to revert it.
Normally, if I start typing in any chat the message would remain there until I hit send- clicking off the chat would deselect the chat and let me fight, keeping the text there until I’m ready to go back and send it or type some more.
That’s how I liked it, it was perfect.
Now, if I start typing, clicking in the world doesn’t deselect the chat. It keeps the chat active- and trying to use abilities now spams the text-entry with numbers. I’m forced to either send the incomplete message or cancel it entirely in order to use any movement or ability.
Is there a console command to revert this weird change?
I’m unable to provide assistance to my group mid-fight and have to choose between standing still and getting hit by things in order to type or simply not type anything at all.
I’ve probably worded this all wrong.
TL;DR- My text-entry box isn’t deactivating when clicking on anything in the world.
(This is an issue with base-game, persists when addons are disabled)
