Plater is what I use, used it even when i did use Elv honestly, most adaptable nameplate addon out there.

i’ve heard there’s also some filtering. I just use WA for important buffs/debuffs so never really something i cared about

Yeah for sure. I’ve been on the beta and ever since they added even more extra action bars to the default UI (similar to how bartender gives more bars), it was an easy choice to go with the Blizz UI for me!

I’m hoping I can drop ElvUI because it’s a noticeable drag on loading times. We’ll see.

Every launch i’ve had issues downloading new versions because they only host it on their crappy servers with negative bandwidth.

I plan to make as much use of the new UI. I’m basic as hell and my plain FF UI has conditioned me to plan UIs forever.

As long as I can get 3 action bars in the bottom center, my health bar slightly above to the left, my targets slight above to the right, and my bag to the bottom right corner of my screen and I am good to go.

ElvUI. It is just better.

Sadly the stuff I wanted to get fixed Blizzard hasn’t touched.

  • Why is custom text still locked out of lfg tool? The LFG tool is terrible and relies on it.
  • If every class/spec has a circular logo, why not just use that instead of the shield/sword/cross which doesn’t give sufficient info? Maybe on hover effect?
  • Why not add a dropdown when selecting world boss in GF tool?
  • Why do I need an addon to track keystones across alts?
  • Why does the default M+ ui still not feel like it gives good/concise info?
  • Why don’t epic BGs show timers for key objectives (towers, etc.)?

I mean, I’m glad they finally got around to revamping the base ui 18 years later. We told them during BFA beta that the ui revamp they had done didn’t go nearly far enough, so I guess this is good.

Still though… there is a lot of pretty basic info missing from the core ui/game.
