The Shadowlands campaign quest that is MANDATORY to do to unlock shadowlands content. STEWARD AT WORK. does not work. the button doesnt exist, /cast Summon Steward doesnt work, the /cast covenant ability does not work. this quest appears to be bugged and has been bugged for a long time according to online. IN GAME i have met numerous people stuck with me trying to figure it out. this needs to be resolved soon. or give us a campaign skip so that we can do shadowlands content like farm renown or do raids

I have the same issue. I have spent hours on this campaign trying to unlock access to the old raids for transmog. I too am stuck here. I tried ui reload as well as the macro nothing works.
I opened a ticket but I havent had any luck in the past with anyone in that system offering real help on an issue like this.

I’m stuck there as well. I can’t even use the covenant abilities at all. None of the special actions appear anywhere for me.

also the quest infusing the wildseed is bugged the bear does not give the soulshape spell to continue the campaign tried reload reinstall abandoning quest also /cast soulshape does nothing as no spell is given…

I am having the same problem. Ive opened tickets and they just say they dont help with quests. This is a bug and needs to be fixed ASAP. Literally impossible to proceed on the Shadowlands Campaign until they do!

Same, cannot progress Shadowlands story as you cannot cast your covenant abilities which are required to progress the story.

I’m stuck since yesterday too. I leveled up a female elf hunter with the intention of getting the dark ranger skin but I can’t continue. I waited for today’s reset to see if I could continue and the quest can’t be solved. This breaks all Shadowlands continuity.

Experiencing the same issue. Every option to even attempt to summon the Steward doesn’t work. I can’t continue Shadowlands because of this.
EDIT: Just like Faelilyn, I’m trying to unlock the Dark Ranger stuff as well, but this quest fully stops that.

Same issue here, trying to unlock Dark Ranger customization and I need to progress in Shadowlands to make Greymane appear but I can’t do that until I phase Oribos. This quest is preventing me from completing the Bastion opening story.

Looks like Blizzard has acknowledged the problem, and is working on it. If everyone posts that they are having an issue here, it may push the issue to the top a little bit!

I’ve had the same problem for 2 days, spells totally missing, nowhere to be found. It suddenly popped up when I entered the dungeon Spires of Ascension, I was so glad I pulled them to action bar. But they disappeared again when I got out of dungeon. Instead the icons read:
“signature ability only available within realms of the shadowlands where a covenant has imbued you with their power”. Makes no sense since I’m in Hero’s Rest, the zone for the quest.
Submitted a ticket, they answered but told me to check on Wowhead and they don’t assist wish such matter.
What drove me mad is that this is a required quest to advance further in the campaign, not some random side quests. Now I can’t do the Shadowlands campaign, and can’t change back to the Free Roam Mode either.

Can you provide a link my friend? I tried to search the Blizzard Article Article ID: 366210 as you said but didn’t see it. Would be hopeful if Blizz has acknowledge the problem.

Honestly they just need to remove the weirdness of shadowlands quest requirements. Its been very buggy. I’ve played the campaign for hours and I still cant see NPCs in the hub city that I can see the icons on the map for. Most of us are running into issues with quests because we are forced to do them to unlock content mainly transmog.

I’ve played thru all other expansions’ campaigns and I noticed too that Shadowlands has the most buggy questing experience. It’s sad seeing this expansion got so much potential, only to be ruined by these annoying bugs.

I created a blood elf hunter to get the dark ranger appearance. My intention was to do all the quests to get various achievements but I got stuck on this quest. No, you can’t summon the npc that repairs the beacon. I waited for yesterday’s reset but nothing I tried worked. Aside from my hunter, I have a dranei paladin with quests up to revendreth and I tried to continue with this one but I got stuck again. Covenant skills don’t work and main campaign can’t be continued.

Similar story to yall. Started the Shadowlands quest last night on a hunter to get covenant access, got to this quest, wasn’t given a chance to add the spell to my action bar before it suddenly vanished. I’m just glad I’m not the only one experiencing this problem, a glitch this bad will hopefully be addressed soon.
What’s weird for me (idk if anyone else is having this issue) is that I’ve completed the leveling campaign before on a different character and was able to skip ahead to choose my covenant on a second character, so my hunter is the third one going through SL but the option to skip never appeared. All of this was done within the past year so something must’ve broke once TWW dropped.

The option to skip to the covenant choice was removed when SL joined the Chromie Time, IIRC. No more Threads of Fate.
Updated: It seems this quest has been fixed. The 2 spells: Summon Steward and Vesper Totem can now be seen and clicked to use. How are you guys all doing?
