Still shocked so many FORMER EQ EQ2 people are in charge of WoW now
That explains why everything has gone from casual to hardcore once EQ2 failed. Seems like the Brough the ideas from that dying game here.
FYI. - former EQ player since it’s launch who came to WoW because while I loves EQ, WoW was EQ but casual
His damage has already been done, and no amount of (hopefully) decent writing will change how I feel about him, really. If Dragonflight’s story turns out to be even half decent, I will thank Blizzard, not him.
I don’t have high hopes. Danuser was arrogant enough to try to tell us with a straight face that Shadowlands was always meant to only have 2 patches. Also that Shadowlands was final chapter in the 1st saga of the warcraft story.

You implying that people should/must like the story though calling people “haters that only attack and bash” because you’re unable to accept that not everybody likes the same thing as you do, is the antithesis of critical thinking.
Also next time when you’re telling people off for not experiencing the story, you might want to learn that Google and YouTube exists as a much easier way to get the story then experiencing it though the game.
Hey now, show some respect. 13 and 14 year olds are a lot smarter then OP.

I will give Steve credit for one thing. He can ride coat tails like I have never seen before.
Not an ounce of talent, skill or creativity but he hasn’t been sent to the curb yet and keeps failing up. It’s sort of impressive.

My opinion of him, and the rest of the writing team, hasn’t changed.
I will say I’m excited for what’s to come of DF! But I’m wary of things going right off the rails like in BfA and especially SL.
I think what he tried to say, awkwardly, is that Shadowlands was him throwing the old lore in the trash can to make room for his new “danuser-verse”. So it was the final chapter in a sense. He took the story, wrote “THE END” in all capitol letters, threw the lore out, and then started his own fiction with fractals and Zereths and other nonsense.
I’ve said it before, his master plan is to repopulate the WoW cosmos in the aftermath of the Legion’s fall with a dozen new planets to fulfill the vision of “A new decade of World of Warcraft”, and the higher ups approved because “another decade of WoW” is always going to evoke Scrooge McDuck swimming in money piles imagery in their heads.
LMAO all of these responses are so funny thinking that steve can’t even write when the prepatch proves otherwise. These are entertaining to read like OMFG.
Does anyone like Danuser now? I don’t believe you.
