First: Kalecgos in Karazhan? Why?
Second: Why Khadgar? There’s no reason to believe why Kalecgos couldn’t have gone directly to the Alliance & Horde instead if Raszageth is this massive threat especially if the Alliance & Horde have a truce after the events of BFA + SL.
Third: As mentioned above, Wrathion was there and yet just decided not to tell Turalyon, Genn OR Azurathel in Stormwind when they were ya know, talking about the expedition to the Dragon Isles?
Oh and Fourth: What’s Khadgar researching in Karazhan? Last time we saw him was in Oribos and we still don’t really know why he was there either unless it was meant just as an Easter Egg or a random side conversation
The cinematic is good but it leaves more questions than answers and these questions shouldn’t be questions.
Was speaking about Danuser, but Ion’s sit on the table is also not secure. It is clear that BfA and SL were disasters going forward with the gameplay and story they offered.
Their visions are not what people want from WoW and all the lead developers only have to blame them for the lack of empathy, understanding and professionalism.
DF story has it’s issues. It’s not SL levels of bad yet (though a certain leaked development regarding Malfurion might change that if it turns out to be true) but it’s clear Danuser still has trouble playing in other people’s sandboxes without kicking their castles down.
Take the Drac’thyr, for instance. They make no sense with past dragon lore. Deathwing spent years trying to create the perfect dragon with the powers of all five flights, basically right up until his death… Except he apparently accomplished this centuries ago and then forgot about it?
I guess we can give him the “Not as bad as you previously have been” award for avoiding anything as stupid as BFA/SL Sylvanas. But that is an exceptionally low bar to clear.
At the moment it’s still an old boys’ network. They don’t value good storytelling, which is why it feels like they’re phoning it in. Players shouldn’t care about that, and this is good enough for them.
Danuser got his job because he was part of the old boys’ network, and he was in the right place at the right time. He will continue to be immune to scrutiny from within until and unless Microsoft starts to question whether what’s going on is having a positive effect on profits.
From what I’ve been reading, the lore for the Drac’thyr is apparently Deathwing had a device he used to control them and when the Aspects fought the OG Primal army 20,000 years ago, that device was destroyed thus why they had to be sealed away.
It makes sense, but it’s a really poor coverup.
We don’t know if this is Danuser’s meddling or the other writers. But they love spitting on legacies (Arthas) and are too afraid to use common sense, which is why the community eats them alive every time.
Yes, I was aware of this. He lacks talent or empathy to understand writing. But deep inside he knows that he is not good enough for this task, unless he sheds all his pride and actually start working on himself. Knowing the lore isn’t to cut it, you need to work on the things others have established in a meaningful way. I cannot understand how he agreed to make Arthas an anima source, everyone and their mother knew this will NOT end well.
Ah, the “scrappy with potential” plot-hook and how important this race will be in 10.3. Absolutely not predictable at this point.
I would say that unwillingness to understand how and why their playerbase plays and what they are willing to pay for are big deals. But so is the fact that the people who were talented at designing fun games that players wanted to play even though they were clearly grinds seem to have been replaced by employees who are inspired only by metrics, and see, to feel that what customers are willing to pay for is irrelevant.
They also seem to be under the misapprehension that they can turn the entire playerbase into esports fanatics who don’t care at all about the story or the world.
They think they are misunderstood geniuses, who will be proven right.
Hawaiian Pineapple Pizza is Pineapple in general regardless of whether or not there’s Ham.
It’s called Hawaiian Pineapple because it has Hawaiian Pineapple on it.
Could it have something to do with Medivh’s speech to Khadgar and this Expansion is setting up Khadgar’s role in the next Expansion where he is being set up to become Odyn’s replacement only for him to ultimately reject that role?
Medivh says: It may be simpler to shut a door than to pass through it. But sometimes a step into the unknown is required to break the bonds of fate.
Firim goes on and on about perpetuating the Song of the First Ones so what if said Song of the First Ones is a Saga that must continue otherwise Light & Shadow can no longer be defined without it and to shut it off results in both being without purpose?
Firim mentions the 6 who are one opposing the 7th and the 1000 who oppose the 1.

What did Yogg-Saron call himself? The Fiend of a 1000 Faces and the God of Death.
What is the place that one of Odyn’s servants mentions can only be accessed via opening the Prisons of the Old Gods? Avalon.
“The lord of ravens will turn the key.”" - Il’gynoth
“Five keys to open our way. Five torches to light our path.” - Il’gynoth
Furthermore Odyn in the Uldaman Lore in Dragonflight Pre-Launch reveals that he is the one who permitted Flesh to continue existing.
“Flesh is his gift. He is your true creator.” - Il’gynoth
Who is supposed to be the King sleeping in Avalon dreaming in British Mythology? King Arthur! Whose name is based on Arthur? Arthas. Whose name is whispered by Yogg-Saron’s lackey Zakajz the Corruptor? Arthas.
What is Helya called? Death. Who is Sara? Yogg-Saron the God of Death…
“At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming.” - Il’gynoth
The Song of the First Ones is a Song leading to the final confrontation at Avalon where we will face the 7 Heads of Death. First the 6 who are the God with 1000 Faces and then the 7th who is King Arthas Pendragon.
At the hour of the Actor(Yogg-Saron judging from Exploring Northrend) playing the role of Death’s 3rd Death(Act 3 in the Drama one might say) just as he played Death’s 1st Death and Helya played her 2nd Death the coming of the Void Lords to Avalon is certain.
Exploring Northrend reveals Yogg-Saron is still alive.
A further statement to note: Barrowknoll Cemetery’s Whispers from the Ghosts has this to say:
“He’s awake now. And he’s noticed you.” - Ghostly Follower
King Arthas Pendragon the Drowned God of the Sunken City of Avalon is awake and noticed us even as the current God of Death looks at his Body recovering in a Black Pool of Azerite.
“The burning ones kept balance. Lost now… lost.” - Barrowknoll Cemetery Whispers
Odyn is gearing up to become the next Burning One to ascend to the Throne of King Arthas Pendragon heedless of Helya’s rivalry counting on Khadgar to become his successor to the role of Burning One when he is overthrown by Helya(who would become the new 6 who are 1000) and King Arthas Pendragon rises again.
Khadgar will naturally just break the Crown of King Arthas Pendragon killing the God of Death once and for all ending the Song of the First Ones and setting up a world where the Naaru and Void Lords fight to see who is right about their methods of guiding Mortal Development just like the Vorlons and Shadows did.
Actually, I hate him even more lol
Has experienced it live and all the starter zones in beta. Its not good, bad is a bit harsh of a word to use but its definitely not good. Mediocre seems fitting.
sorry i dont think we can be friends anymore after this Italian insult.
/walks out the door while mumblin in Italian.
Yeah that sums up my opinion.
While I appreciate the introduction of a bunch of death cultists utilizing some form of shamanism (hmm, sounds familiar) as the villains, I’m not putting any bets on this expansion’s storyline going anywhere that isn’t a sewer that smells only slightly better than the absolute dumpster fire that was Shadowlands: starring Sylvanas “It Wasn’t The Real Me” Windrunner (and Sobald the Nipple Guy for some reason).
And Scene!
thanks for doing this movie re-rehearsal for me dreadmoon!
With how hard he stans for Steve, are we sure he isn’t him? or a family member at the very least?
Hello, I see you posted a thread about a weird obsession. I’m not going to lie, the OP sounds like he might be 13 or 14 years old! I’m starting to feel bad for the little guy, haha!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
My age doesn’t concern you and it’s not your liberty to know about anything personal related to me.
Hello, I see you replied to my post. I didn’t ask, haha!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
Blame Canada
(Hawaiian Pizza amusingly enough was invented by a Canadian)
