No. I believe, like past mounts, it has to be a recurring subscription of six months.

Get yourself a GreenDot card at Walmart. It’s prepaid.
You can’t sub with battle.net balance so the promotion won’t work for you, need real money.
But you can buy the mount separately on the store for $25. That works with balance.

If you only want the mount I recommend just buying the mount alone.

The whole recurring subscription thing is for those who have a recurring subscription. You’ll be rewarded the mount at a certain date.
I think someone mentioned you could buy a 6month sub using Bnet balance.
That should work, I’ve never done it before though.

They changed it after the boat.
If all you want is the mount just buy the mount. Its either “free” with 6 months or purchaseable alone

Just wait for a sale they do every christmas. You might have to wait a year since the newest mount isn’t always on there.
I wouldn’t get suckered into a 6 month sub though unless you were truly planning on playing for the next 6 months.
This is the hailmary to keep people playing until SL launch.
At least we should be thankful they have chilled with the once per quarter mount releases. Let’s hope that is over for good.
