i got hit with the nsfw bitcoin scam lol

Seriously, I read a lot willingly gave out their info from it. It happens during tax season. They use a spoof number which is the official ssa’s number.

It’s terrible on discord too, people end up getting their accounts hacked from scammers. Idk how, people stupidly click on links from them.

i dont use Steam. dont trust 'em

oh its was nothing like that but a scam email type of threat if you would call it lol
saying if i report this to the police they would release the video of me doing bad things lol
to my family and the public lol

Some guys at work mentioned this.

Changed my password, already texted my son to have him do that when home from school.

Jeez, that’s unfortunate.

I tend to not read a lot of my emails unless I know something important is coming lol. I just consider it trash, probably saving myself the trouble if it means avoiding crap like that.

i know lol but i have put it as spam and its on a old hotmail account lol

if you see i have hacked you webcam camera and seen you watching “videos” its that scam

I wish I could get amusing scam emails. Best I get is some dentist in Iowa who constantly gives out my gmail address as his. We have the same first initial and last name but his has 2 w’s on his last name where mine has 1 so I’ve been getting emails for him about as long as gmail has been a thing.

When his kids were small I got all kinds of “your minor child has signed up for this account” emails, his son’s scout group invited me to their bbq (even when I replied and corrected the email they said I was welcome anyway). All kinds of hotel reservation confirmation emails, contractor quotes from when they did house renovations, even dude’s friggin tax attorney sent me all his personal documents one year.

I am currently getting all the emails about him buying a new Jeep Wagoneer and all the services he signed up for it. I would honestly prefer the phishing scams :frowning:
