Anyone played this game on steam deck?

Im almost tempted to try it, it looks like it could be cool
It plays very well, but the setup to get descent controls going is a bit tedious. Lots of good add ons for it, but just takes a while to get it all in place and working. I was very surprised by how smooth it plays and feel like Blizzard should make a steam compatible launcher and better controller support soon. Really wish they had better controller support.

Yup ive done it.
Plays well there’s a add on that gives you radial menus. Good enough for LFR dungeons quest normal BGs.

Not sure I can post this here but will try. Here is a guide to initial setup. It’s a bit of a pain but not too bad.

Fun as DPS, stressful as Tank, next to impossible as Healer. I usually only do it when I want to keep up with world content at work.

I play everyday on Arch Linux, which the Steam OS is based on, so it should work. I’ve also seen videos of people playing WoW on their Decks. How easy or hard will it be without mouse & keyboard I wouldn’t know.
Yep, works fine…
It’s pretty easy to get a keyboard and mouse going on the steam deck. The only weirdness is trying to use controls when accessing battle net to launch (which you get around by making a touch pad a mouse input and a rear button a mouse click).
Overall I like the setup but I find there are too many buttons in WoW to make it work as nicely as FF14.
On that note, is the anti glare one worth, or nah?

Does he raid? I also have the same question.
Like could you realistically plug in a mouse and keyboard and portable monitor and still run a raid with dbm.
Yea, get a docking station… that is what my friend does… And you can even use steam deck as a traditional PC…

Well I know you “can”. I guess is it performant enough to do the job.
The game behaves very differently in a raid setting with addons and 9-19 other players than say in a bg or while you are solo questing.
i lose my mind when the fps is below 165 and the quality not maxed out.
i dont think portable wow is in my near future 
hell im already having a hard time when in valdrakken on my beast machine.
He gets around 30 fps in raid I mean it’s not going to be 100+ fps

Honestly for the price and what it can do…and as portable as it is…is pretty damn impressive.
