Stealth/Shadow dance action bar help

Hey guys.

I want to get into playing my rogue but I have one major annoying problem and am curious if anyone knows how to help me.

When you enter stealth/shadow dance your bottom “main” 1-12 action bar swaps over to your stealth bar. Once you exit stealth/shadow dance your stealth bar turns back into your “main” action bar outside of stealth.

The way I play my characters, I have shadowstrike and backstab on my top action bar with rupture and eviscerate on the bottom bar. When you enter stealth/shadowdance you gain access to cheap shot. I would greatly love it if i could replace my backstab ability with cheap shot when I am in stealth/shadowdance but I currently can not do that because that ability is on my top action bar. My current setup I replace my rupture with cheap shot down below on my action bar but this is not something i would like to do.

Is there any possible way through the base wow UI or through some addon that potentially allows all of your action bars to be swapped when entering stealth/shadowdance instead of just only your bottom “main” action bar?

This is one of the only solutions I can think of that would help me out because i would rather not have my backstab down below on my main action bar.

Any solutions or ideas would be much appreciated!

Just use macros with the conditionals and modifiers. I’ll help you as soon as I can figure out what exactly you want.

Example:

/use [nostance,nocombat,nomod] !Stealth
/use [nomod,stance] Cheap Shot
/use [nomod,stance:0] Shiv
/use [mod:shift] Kidney Shot
/use [mod:alt] Shuriken Toss
/use [mod:ctrl]

If you wanted, you could replace Shiv with Backstab or put backstab on the modifier line. Put the macro on both bars and no worries.

Elvui would be best you cant do what you want with the standard blizz UI. I’m guessing what you want is to use the same Bar along with the same keybinds when in and out of Shadow Dance and for only the applicable abilities between the two stance to change.

I just make my stealth action bar the same as my out of stealth one

But ik a lot of people use stance macros

Personally I use Bartender add on. Been using it for a very long time. There’s a small learning curve. But once you understand how paging works it’s a great add on for action bars.
