PLEASE bring back stealthing while shadow dance is active. I shouldnt have to make a /cancelaura macro to be able to restealth during pvp if I press dance first. I know there are fringe circumstances where this happens, but it still happens and when it does, it can be game changing.
It was never like this and I don’t know why it was changed. It worked fine every other expansion.
Even in PvE would be nice to be able to restealth without dropping shadow dance (particularly with the conduit).
That said, I rate this as a near zero development priority given that it only impacts a small portion of a class that blizzard largely ignores.
it was changed during legion after nighthold because there was an exploit where if u were unstealthed and used a macro to cast stealth and shadow dance at the same time, u would remain stealthed but also be able to attack for the duration of shadow dance, giving u essentially 11 seconds of stealth before vanishing which worked with mantle of the master assassin’s 100% crit buff. this was their solution to that, it’s never coming back.
At this point make the cancel aura macro. Annoying for sure but it is what it is!
