Just going about my daily grind, selling some runs/boosts for idle GP, lo and behold the east wing of Stockades is now ridiculously difficult to gather up mobs and AOE down. Did Blizzard get wise to this leveling tactic and just give all the Insurgents +300 weapon skill so they can freely stunlock mages and knock them right out of Blink?
This is so dumb. Not even able to do the full wing clears anymore. Broke my gear twice trying to plan a different pull path, but this is just absurd. I’m getting stunned right out of Ice Block before a GCD even finishes and can’t do anything at all. Mobs should not be hitting a 60 like this.
why’s a 60 in stockades anyway? that’s not intended gameplay.

Their knockdown has a 100% chance to connect, regardless of any external factors. You’re either out of range, or you’re getting knocked down.
I don’t know why a mage would be boosting Stockades anyway. If you’re trying to make money, do SM or Mara.
Stocks is much easier to boost, faster and right in SW.

Stocks doesn’t require a Respec from raid spec.
So I usually do it as I don’t need to spend 100g to respec and it isn’t bad gold for 40 minutes.
Because the horde don’t have scarlet monastery inside their capital walls…

No, they have it a short walk from Undercity, and it’s much better to go there than Stockade by miles.
FWIW I heard the same thing from a paladin yesterday who was running Stockades about the knockback. It’s probably just random though.
Are all low level dungeons just supposed to disappear when one reaches max level?

do you also quest in low level zones?
Are you just mad all of your retail zones scale to your level so your character never feels more powerful?
Actually that was a large reason of why I got out of retail, yes. Getting weaker with every level-up due to ratings giving less effect, but the mobs staying the same, feels terrible.

but…it certainly does feel more powerful. it can solo world bosses now and it couldnt at the begining of the zones.
The retail player above you just contradicted you using intended game mechanics, and my own personal experience from retail when they made this change backs it up.
You get weaker and weaker as you level up in WOW retail in comparisson to mobs in the zones…
This is why I quit WOW altogether.

Gear is irrelevant to the issue.
In classic a naked level 60 warrior is far stronger than a level 10 when running through STV…
In retail it’s essentially the same.

It is intended that a 60 can enter stockades, so you’re objectively wrong.
Yeah, you just have Warchief’s Blessing in your capital, which is notably more important.

The mobs have very high knockback rng and it’s only a problem now that you noticed you lost the coin flip.
