Stealth Breaking Assassination

My stealth is constantly breaking now, about 10 seconds after i enter stealth. For no reason. Even when i’m in sanctuary areas, no attacks, dots, nothing. Tried to open a ticket about it, but it just kept sending me in circles answering questions about it. Completely reset my UI. No add-ons, still having the same problem. Any suggestions?
Edit: I was using the worldvein resonance essence, and that is what kept knocking me out of stealth. would be nice if they fixed that though.

playing Sin the last 4 days to get my pvp blood essence, i have had this happen a CRAP LOAD of times, i have no dots or anything, im stealth and people start attacking me, i keep breaking stealth constantly NFI why. frustrating as hell

Yeah this is just flat out broken. I am so sick of constantly popping out of stealth. Hearing people say that this has been going on for ever is a little discouraging too. It only recently started happening to me and I expect a fix immediately. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I believe it has to do with creeping venom. I realized when creeping venom was on someone I would come out of stealth until the person died or let creeping venom dropped off. Changed the talent and haven’t had an issue since.

Hello guys :grinning: , have you tried going without your follower ? the one they give you in Naz ? i know they are really helpful but in many cases they make you go out of stealth randomly doing or casting things or even getting caught in stealth :sweat: . My suggestion is that you JUST use them to complete their dailies and then dismiss them by clicking their portriat in the buff section of the UI , that worked for me :raising_hand_man: ( this is for Nazjatar cases :point_left: ) .

:point_right: If you are getting out of stealth in other places too , my only guess is that you may be running some azerith trait that deals damage and is getting triggered , can’t remember the traits names but i hope you get my point :pray:

Happens on my Rogue/Druid a ton

surprisingly, on my hunter camo has 0 issues and always works

the same stealth breaking happens to me often since 8.2, it some what seems to happen more with a follower but it still happens when i am in mechagon. Hopefully a hotfix is coming soon

The most common denominator for this bug is the Subterfuge talent. Not always but the most common. They always break it. Butterfly effect or something. I really hope they don’t get lazy and remove it as an easy fix in 9.0.

I am curious if this is in some way connected to the random combat bug. I have noticed that there will be random times you go into combat while stealthed in certain zones/instances. And it will pull you out of stealth a lot.

Back in the day as a Warrior you could pull players out of stealth with shouts as it put them into combat.

Hopefully they’re looking into it.

Had it happen for an entire match. I was using Smoke Bomb, Mind-Numbing and Flying Daggers and anytime my Garrote bleed ticked on a player it would instantly pull me out of stealth without fail. Even if I put bleeds up, died and respawned as long as my bleeds were ticking I could not restealth.

The healer bodyguard in Naz will break you out of stealth if his heal is still active on you. His hot is also an AOE damaging attack.

breaks left and right to absolutley nothing. broke all the time while in dungeons or just questing. really annoying

It’s Subterfuge, I spec out of it and it stops. Standing at the seal, without it talented everything is find, but as soon as I spec back into Subterfuge, within 10 seconds I pop out of stealth.
I found the issue… it is Worldvein Resonance, as soon as I set my neck back to “The Crucible of Flame”, Subterfuge works fine again.

its been a bug since pre legion launch when they did the legion patch it broke stealth at times and its still not fixed…lol.

It’s the “Worldvein Resonance”, IMHO it appears it is the Minor Power: Lifeblood that is causing it.

The “Lifeblood Shard” that happens every 18-20 seconds is causing stealth to break.

Spec out of it, doesn’t happen, spec into it, stealth is breaking constantly.

NOTE: I have not yet unlocked the rank 55 where only the Major power is in play. Can anyone who has ground out the rank confirm?

In Mechagon, one of the causes is when those hovering crates are destroyed and drop. The radius is massive and will destealth you.

I’m using BOTE and it still happens so if that’s causing it then it’s its own issue.

So basically rogue stealth is unreliable until Blizz fixes it.

Same here, wondering why it hasn’t been fixed yet. Going on two weeks of randomly popping out of stealth in front of Alliance. Using the Pvp essence though I don’t think it matters.
