Steady, constant mini freeze i mouseover game menu

Whenever I mouseover the Game Menu (the micro bar button that shows home/world latency, framerate, bandwidth, and addon memory etc) I get the most consistent mini freezes I’ve ever seen before.

Basically, for the entire time I look at my latency/fps etc by mousing over that button, I mini freeze for 0.3 seconds, then unfreeze for 1 second, then mini freeze for 0.3 seconds, then unfreeze for 1 second, and so on, repeating this way literally endlessly, and -perfectly- timed like this the whole time. Its like clockwork.

The odd thing is, even though the game world mini freezes constantly, I can still move my cursor around and see it move even during the freezes (of coarse if I move the mouse off the button, the freezes end, but if I move the cursor in circles -on- the button, the cursor never mini freezes, just everything else does. Hope I explained this clearly enough. :stuck_out_tongue:

The instant I move my mouse away, I go back to having no meaningful lag at all like I said, and I haven’t found other things that cause this odd mini freezing to happen.

Any idea what’s going on with this? It might not be some super gamechanging issue, I can play the game just fine with it, but it’s obviously not a good thing, and I’d like to figure out a solution to this, or fix whatever is wrong. It’s pretty annoying to deal with all the same.

Thanks for any help…

Hey, Silentcrits!

Can you try logging to the character select screen and disable all of your addons using the disable all button in the addons window? I’ve seen similar issues in the past that was caused by addons.

I wasn’t able to verify if IPv6 was enabled on our end, but can you double check to see if IPv6 is disabled in your network settings in the WoW settings menu?

I have this same exact issue. The exact one. Did you find a solution OP?

Turning off all addons did remove it but I can’t isolate it to just one. Once I think I’ve found it, it will return with the isolated addon turned off and the rest turned on and so on. Pretty frustrating.
