Static Noise in WOW

When I open my WOW there is a noise sound in the background, even if I go to the Windows options and remove the game’s sound it continues, but when closing the game this hissing disappears.

I saw a post here in support saying that enabling vsync and limiting the 60 fps would solve it, here it really gets lower, but the sound only disappears if I limit it to 8 fps, I don’t know what else I can do to solve this problem.

I’ve already changed all the sound settings within the game, I noticed that if I set the game’s graphics to ultra the hiss increases and at least decreases.

I do not know what to do

Is it a fan? Or maybe the power supply?

It doesn’t seem like that to me because the noise comes directly from the headphone and only with the game open, I tested other headphones and other inputs and nothing

You may be getting feedback from other pieces of hardware that are next to the headphone port. This idea is supported by the sound getting worse as you crank up the power and hardware requirements to Ultra.

Do you have an external sound device with a different connection? Not sure if you’re using USB or 3.5mm jack, but try using the opposite.

I tested both with a USB headphone and a 3.5mm jack and both had the same problem, I was thinking it could be a grounding, which I don’t have.

I would take it into a hardware shop then. You don’t want to short out your components.
