No one enjoys this PvP Meta. Plus cant even play alts without being tortured by blizzards extra grind systems that no one enjoys.

Participation was high in S1 because:
1.) New expac with new hype. People excited about the 9 month nightmare of BFA s4 being over and pvp vendors being back
2.) PvP being the most optimal way to gear for classes that prio vers, which is a lot of classes. This is the main reason why S1 was so played. With the nerf to pvp gear less people feel the neeed to play outside of the first few weeks where 2100 gear is better than what people can reliably attain pve’ing.
Also the game is just incredibly unfun. The people that are left playin obviously enjoy the game at some level, are mostly addicted to it on another level, and have major FOMO on a third level. We’re talking the players that have attached their identity to their arena achievements, and if they go a season without getting glad / R1 that they are failures at life. Really these are the only people left playing it feels like.

As a nightfae warrior trying to push to 1800, i know this pain so much.
At this point, im debating about just getting a kill crew together to go bob around in Random BGs and get some hard to get achievements.
Its taxing to play right now, because, outside of hitting my 1 win in 1600, conquest capping, i have no reason to play pvp, other then personal enjoyment because honor gear is such garbage.

I mean, i enjoy it personally, just becaue well, for the first time in quite a while i dont feel worthless in pvp as a warrior. IMO warrior now plays like warrior did in classic - wrath, we hit really hard, and can keep hitting hard, we just have trouble getting up to people.
have you seen condemn warriors with the execute charge talent?

I love the fae armor, hence my mog, but god not having condem feels so bad, i dont wanna switch just for pve.

So like everything im reading, and seeing is basically this.
In 2s, its venthyr for condem, or you have to struggle bus hard.
In 3s and RBGs, its really dealers pick for warriors, there is not one clear winner and not one clear looser with covenants outside of 2s.
But full stop, because i dont have venthyr, hunters basically are a guarantee loose for me.
This is not surprising. Ngl this game actively frustrates me more than it entertains me these days. Just a time sink at this point

3 button mouth breathing classes still sitting at the top same as S1. Healers struggling even more. Casters can’t cast/ do damage only with instants. Idk what you call this meta but this is the most mongo state of PvP atm.

In that game one of the classes can use shotguns and basically one shot in their pvp and they just run around like a bunch of animals.
Its called shotgun ape. Arena right now is litearlly filled with shotgun apes.
and trust me i wanna switch to venthyr to enjoy it.

Destiny has always been that way. Sniping is just as bad.
the main issue with this game is everything that you need to grind, constantly, or you fall behind.
for an “alt friendly expansion”, it’s truly not even main friendly.

Ppl having to choose between pvp and pve items in vault doesnt help either.
Bring back seperate chests.
Blizz effectively make you choose ONE type of content to excell in.

Yea pvp in this game sucks hard. Im not wasting my time looking for someone or a group to que with only for someone to insta die into a rage quit into waiting again.
