State of the Game

With the dwindling last 30 minutes of my sub, I decided to post saying I am jumping the ship.

Stats show Blizz isn’t playing the right formula to be as successful as others, so I’ll take my chances in the water.

However, kudos to you guys that stay with the Captain and go down with the ship. Hopefully there will be some life boats left by time it happens.

All jokes aside, I love WoW. I just don’t find myself enjoying as much as I did in the past. So, I’ll move along and test the waters elsewhere.

TLDR: Loved Legion the most probs, and since then the gameplay (in my opinion) has gone down but the graphics have gone up. Community has definitely become much more hostile.

I’ll go live the rest of my days out here in Japan as a happy resident and maybe hook up with my ex in the future if they can return to greatness. Even if it sinks, boy won’t it be a story like the Titanic.

So long guys, I hope you continue to have fun.

Due to overwhelming confusion, please understand I am using this as data. Search the following on Youtube…
400%?! Dragonflight’s Player Numbers REVEALED! WoW Has A LONG Way To Go.

Apparently your ability to post on the forums does not end once your sub ends. I was confused about that.

What stats are you referring too?

Not trying to change anyone’s mind here, but I’d like to think I do pretty well paying attention to Blizzards moves as I did when Square Enix was trying to salvage FFXIV from the cesspool that 1.0 was.

So at the least I feel this point isn’t what I call accurate. They made a lot of moves trending in the right direction both with their company and in game. It’s going to ruffle a few feathers, but at the very least I think they’re moving forward well enough.

Bud, the airport is 30 minutes north… Announce your departure there, and in the “I quit” comments of your sub cancellation

Play WOW for whatever it is, because the old WOW is not coming back.
Wishing it to go back to the “old days” is just not happening.

Not only because it was made by an entirely different team, the player pool also shrinked by alot.

Maybe you should’ve actually leveled to level 70, and see how good it is. Here’s another one that doesn’t understand how one’s taste can actually change over the years, just saying.

Also, Blizzard doesn’t tell you to post upon the forums as to why you’re leaving, but they do give spaces in the cancellation screen to personalize your quitting reasons. If you can’t condense your thoughts down to that space, then that’s on you.

@Callieamaya - Asmondgold made a recent video about it.
Update, please see the post below this one. I made it easier to find what was being discussed here!

@Ginzo - This xpan is def a breakthrough when compared to the last two, but just that.

@Trolloladin - Come again?

@Pfizer - I know. New game not for me.

@Ilidaria - Aren’t you the person talking about using tokens or something and feedback being useless in someone else’s thread?

I’m a big proponent when it comes to people playing, or quitting, games however they like to play them, but a restart down to the foundation will take time. As far as I can see, we’re on the foundation, now it’s up to Blizz to build a better house than the one that went up in flames.

@Ginzo - I agree. It’s just as of now I don’t want to spend my money on something that has just disappointed me for years. I want to see change before they see my change (pun intended).

I feel exactly the same way. My sub ends in June. I hope you find another activity that’s fun!

Quotes are more accurate, just saying. What I said was that Blizzard doesn’t tell a cancelling person to come here. Reread the post .

@Catelan - Hogwarts Legacy comes out shortly. Should give me some time. After that, I’ll probably re-run Elden Ring completion. Idk, I am sure other stuff will also release in the near future that may interest me.

@Ilidaria - Yeah, but the community voice also can influence others. It’s not a rant and rave. More so just to understand other’s ideals. It is clear that you obviously have distaste for anyone stating their unhappiness with the current game, and that’s okay. That’s your opinion and you are allowed to have it. I just don’t like what I have seen in the past and I don’t see anything in the horizon quite yet that is worth my investment.

Outside of extreme lows, there’s literally no reason to base your gaming choice based on if a faceless public is choosing it.

He doesn’t have any insider access to WoW at all. If he does, certainly not got any kind of player stats. So he is using false and flawed data like everyone else that isn’t Blizzard.

Imagine thinking people only have one character they play. It’s like those people who post on a sub max level while having other max level toons and someone jumps down their throat saying some idiotic troll response like “how can you experience that if you’re not even max level.” Oh wait, that’s exactly what happened here.

Perfect time to play Diablo4

@Snowpine - Yeah. I understand that. However, many other MMORPG’s can offer much more than Blizzard has offered in the last few years, and most are relatively new. Meaning that in just a few years, upcoming MMORPG’s are now able to contest the king of MMORPG’s. Only the future will tell.

@ Vaeana - It wasn’t really his video. It was some other guy’s and he was reacting to it.
Update, please see the post below this one. I made it easier to find what was being discussed here!

@Kookiedough - Yeah, I have other toons. Lol. Even an Evoker.

@Pfizer - When is it released?

I dunno about GM’s, but the MVP and CS people do indeed tell you to post why you are leaving the game.

@Thomacles - I only posted to talk to the community and hear their thoughts. I know the “end-of-sub” thing says to put it. I guess it makes sense to have many different sections of outreach monitoring why individuals leave or enter the game.

Does anyone know what this means?
