I’ve been on a Classic hiatus since late Sept/early Oct and was wondering what the faction balance is currently like in Sulfuras. By the time I left I believe it was something like 45% Alliance 55% Horde. Is that still the case or no?

A good test is to try to run to BRM. If you can make it within 30 minutes, your state is okay.
That’s not a particularly severe faction balance ratio. I believe it’s slightly worse than that now, but still not too bad.
I don’t know as far as world pvp It seems like alliance is greater than horde.
Also interested to know what true pop is like, considering playing here.
I play sulfuras and it’s pretty good balance wise. During peak hours your obvious places are pretty dangerous but if the ally weren’t stuck in IF doing nothing it would be a tug of war. There’s still plenty of places to go and farm and get into 1v1s and the like
Sulfuras is a great server. Still feels 55:45 horde:alliance, if any indication from Warcraft logs, there’s more ‘top end’ pve guilds on alliance. Alliance have gotten most of the world boss kills including 3 Azuregoes kills.
Alliance also seems to be more active during the late night hours, I’m guessing it’s because there’s more casual horde players.
