I got the mount from Torghast. Mounting there doesn’t make it much better. It’s kind of funny to mount up there during the intro quest on an alt though.
I think the idea has potential, the GTA-style threat and all, too, but tossing dailies in there ruins it.
If it was way bigger, and stuffed full of rares and ghosts and other stuff, MAYBE with a weekly chain, it could still have some mystery and ambience. Instead it’s just… daily chores.

At this point I’m just getting Anima solely to upgrade my Venthyr DK’s cov armor up, doin a little pvp to get itme piece upgrades, maybe a flashy new sword
and then…
I’ll move onto another alt. Once I’ve done all four cov stories I just dont know if I’ll do much more than RP at this point. I only want my characters to be able to have a more comfortable time moving around and smashing things in the Shadowlands.
If only PvP wasn’t such a mess! Oh well. It’s …just enjoyable neough in small doses and I do get some nice things out of it. (Off-set items).
So, as a person from Moon Guard, how’s the troll RP on WrA? I’m thinking of making an alt to go play on there for a while, and maybe re-make my guild.
How… ‘strict’ is it on there?

There’s no totally precise way of answering this, since it obviously varies from person to person and there is for sure a Troll out there somewhere who thinks any name without an apostrophe in it is a bannable offense, but in general, WrA is very “laissez faire” about RP and that includes Troll RP.
I would say the Zandalari and the Bwonsamdi-centric content of BfA and SL has given Troll RP a shot in the arm. Troll RP has always been fairly solid, but opening up the Zandalari and the customization options allowing people to be of different tribes means there’s a lot more going on.
Trolls are well represented in the normal RP spaces like Orgrimmar and, when last checked, a number of them hold guild events in areas like Zul’Farrak and Zul’Gurub.

Of my time spent RP’ing on WoW, nearly a decade of it was pretty much exclusively Troll related. I haven’t done nearly as much in the past year or two, but there’s still plenty to be had. And I still interact with plenty of Troll hunters.
As far as “strictness”, it’s pretty easy to find something suiting your tastes. There’s people running around playing characters across the entire spectrum of heroic to villainous. Serious to comedic. But nobody’s going to bug you about what you should/shouldn’t be doing in random walk ups.
If it is a specific structure you’re looking for, you won’t get it out in the general community. You’ll have to find specific RP partners, or groups, or guilds. Many guilds have their own structure and I know the Shadowtusk Clan in particular has very detailed lore, internal rankings, it’s own “classes” and other such elements unique to it. Most other guilds are a lot more freeform. Like Zuldazar Menagerie or the Voodoo Expedition League.
Every couple of months, there’s usually a big gathering in Zul’Gurub, and once a year, there’s the great hunt: a week long event.
But I’m gong to encourage you to remake your guild anyway! It’s not like we have too many!
I think my main problem will be because the guild will be Bwonsamdi-themed, and not all trolls like him. I’m planning on letting non-trolls in it too (under the ranking ‘Troll-friend’), soo maybe it won’t be so strict?
It’s going to be a more ‘Casual’ Guild too, with a tiny bit of Lore in it, like you said about the Shadowtusk Clan. I know not everyone will like it, but it’s just a bit of headcanon that I have.
I’m not new to RP, but I just wanted to ‘try out’ this server to see if I like it. If so, I’m going to go on WrA from time to time to RP. If not, well… I’ll just have another alt of Ahmanet 
I don’t really see much, if any anti-Bwonsamdi sentiment among Troll RP’ers on the server. IC or OOC. So that won’t be a problem.
There’s often an expressed desire for guilds that do more open action/adventure events, so that’s definitely a niche to be filled!
But as with any guild, it’ll be about forming that solid core of invested players and making sure you have enough RP to keep others engaged. If you ever get it up and running, feel free to let me know and I can send a shout out to people who’re looking for a Troll-themed guild!

I actually have noticed the opposite-- things have been ramping up as I’ve been making a bunch of different connections. Invading events, random walk-ups, getting old friends back into the RP scene.
After I’m done with playing through whatever content I want to for the day, I go take a short break, then do some roleplaying. A month of walk-up for any excuse I could find has paid dividends, because now I’m organizing an IC run of Torghast with a few other elves. Three of us pledged to the Night Fae, even, so we’ve got every reason to know each other and want to go beat things up in The Maw.
I only plan to do more events like this. Loose story weaved into gameplay, then make stronger story beats as the weeks go by, we gear up, and we want to take on heftier threats.
I’m having a blast. I wish I could find more to group with but, I can’t do this cross faction and I don’t really see a lot of people using CrossRP, either.
Eventually I’ll tie this into doing World Quests (the less silly ones, anyway), and then make more story beats. This worked really well for me in Legion and was probably the reason I was subbed the entire time. So, I’m gonna do it again.

The grind got me feeling like garbage, which correlates to a general bad mood and unwillingness to rp. I can assume this affects other people and not just me, so that can be taken into account.
There’s also people who are more interested in niches, and they tend to only invest in those.
I only really have an interest in trying to find Void Elf RP - I’m not really into other races as much outside maybe Highborne Kal’dorei.
I personally can’t get my itch scratched from what I see on realm, so I’m just doing content instead until my sub lapses. Not everybody’s a leader.

I pretty much exclusively RP now, only really do content if nothing else is going on. I like the idea of SL but I just feel bored. RP seems to be alive and well though.
