i dont see a problem with the wpvp crates, but everything else needs to be addressed

Incomes the forum dwellers to tell you this is all factually wrong and the real issue is they made PvP too easy.

I’m curious how much impact the boosting actually has. Too bad this post doesn’t really have anything to say about it other than “some people try to sell boosts in trade chat”.

Players are avoiding traditional PvP gearing by forming 40-player raids and farming War Supply Chests

Has this dude tried getting crates as horde without a raid? You really only get them at like 3am on a dead shard. The crate farming raids were the players’ answer to the problem of racial imbalance.

Wintergrasp Inner Wall Bypass
Demolishers can be used by the attacking team to destroy the Fortress Door without breaking through the inner wall. The gallery below shows the attackers winning despite the inner wall remaining intact.

tbh I don’t really think this one is an issue. Like, oh no smart WG offense groups can end the game a bit faster rather than risk spending 20min waiting for a loss. There are so many actual issues with WG that focusing on this is kind of dumb.

Ashran Stealth Cheese
Showcasing the strategy mentioned above, I snuck past the enemy team and NPCs with Potion of the Hushed Zephyr and soloed the boss. While a simple balance change can stop individual players from pulling this off, premade groups (usually five druids and/or rogues) can abuse perma-stealth from the start of the battlegrounds to the finish.

idk man it’s pretty easy to stop a backdoor if one undergeared player will volunteer to just chill at base. I’ve never seen anyone get reported if they just communicate to the group that they are watching base, and typically people thank them for their service.
If I’m on hunter or shaman (or with the use of certain toys) I’ll just far sight to our base and “/target high war” to keep an eye on the boss.

I’ve also coordinated this with pugs in games where we just didn’t have enough healers to win the mid lane grind. And if a group goes to do this at the start, you just roll them over at RoC because they are missing a big chunk of their team and then people instantly scroll back to base to check boss.

It’s cheese because it’s easily countered and just relies on your enemy being complacent.

Yup usually one person volunteers to watch the base. Also have a few people trying to protect our frag guy.

It’s just bad design that this is needed though. Like, yeah, telling one person they just need to sit in base and not engage in any of the fights or objectives and they need to just stand there waiting for an enemy who might never come is just not fun.
Blizzard really should change it. I didn’t look at the article however so I can’t speak to anything else it said.

One good mw/pres duoing with a potato has a bit of influence on flag carry maps but it’s probably more just for the mmr boost of winning a few with a 2800 player rather than floundering down at 1300 or wherever.

The points about the epic battlegrounds look outdated to me. I mean most of us had this stuff noted and countered a few years ago.

The crate farm raids are an interesting one. They themselves aren’t really a “problem” per se…more like a response to problems that already exist with warmode sharding. It would be nice though if the respective faction raids crossed paths sometimes, which they never seem to do…

As for the Blitz boosting? I bet you there’s more people being scammed by that than anything.

Good of them to post that article, maybe it’ll bring some attention to PvP problems. A lot of them are old, but also so stupid not to fix, like vehicle HP in epic BGs, for example.

Also, the crate thing, TIL there is an addon for that ha. Casually cheesed 500 conquest in an hour just flying around in a raid, nice. To be honest, I love it. Always hated how the best way to catch up midseason was to grind arenas.

I’ll give it a skim later. But if they mention “sync groups” I’ll know they’re a flake. :stuck_out_tongue:

seems more like MMO-C is trying to just acknowledge problems exist rather than run commentary about them.

Google “wow pvp boost” and see what happens LMAO. I don’t even have to say anything here, but I’m going to vomit something out anyways, some truth actually, for fun.

Badroi is busy complaining about losing to Brewmaster monks and stuck at sub 2k rating, while people like me obtain 2300 by accident in my sleep.

Kennie is off somewhere working at Burger King to obtain more rank 1 players that keep him added on Discord, that will help keep him company/pretend to be his friend in-game for 1,500 USD.

Amatox is at the beach just watching us all slap our swords together, and climax in battle all over each other.

Exalter is busy right now on-and-off praying to God that his big plans IRL are about to dominate the world and then he can come back to use his shield to take a lot of damage and be un-biased on the forums.

WHERE IS BEEDIE WHEN NOBODY WANTS HIM? Oh I think he might be working on a 98 Ford Taurus as a project car just chillin somewhere in North Dakota.

That peyote button I took 3 hours ago was great.

That sounds fun!

Notice how every single god damn thing I said about Blitz was right all along. Oops, another win for me. Bye. EZ 2300 in shuffle. Next time it’s EZ glad range (dont care about the actual title, 3v3 is trash. I have a life, wife, and kid)

You really do live in a fantasy world.

Love and hate them. It’s by far the best way to gear and grind conquet. It sucks as horde though. Outside of getting into the crate farm groups, it can be tough to get any at all on some shards.

Yea, almost confusing. The GY farm in WG has been an issue almost since introduction. WG in general badly needs proper balancing.

That said, that they didn’t mention premades at all is odd. That’s by far the most massive issue in epics currently.

Yep. I’d also disagree that anyone is getting stomped because of a pilot. A players chances of being on winning team versus not is basically the same.

No one has argued boosting doesn’t exist.

You can’t get glad from shuffle.

i mean, i predicted this outcome all the way back in testing when they added duo queueing to blitz. everyone said it was a bad idea.

Learn how to read. I said “glad range”. Don’t give a damn about the title. I’m in the range at all times on all of my characters when I want to be. You however, are not. Again, learn to read.

Glad range doesn’t exist for a bracket that doesn’t have glad. Hope that helps.
