Honestly I don’t even know where to start. If you play a healer in arena currently, I could imagine your frustration when you get to use a cd get three casts off, and go oom. Getting trained by a mongoloid double melee in constant stunlock while desperately trying to fakecast and get a heal off and pray for peels then you get a few heals off and go oom. I don’t understand how Blizzard would consider this fun for anyone.

Priests are in a rough spot. Like I don’t know how people play them after the change. If blizzard wants to keep the change then it should be 35% at the absolute most. Priest Mana sucks so hard. Hell I’m usually at 70% by the time the priest goes oom.

It’s not fun at all. It feels like so much of the burden of the win comes down to the healer or how well the dps can peel if you’re getting trained… or just hope your lucky stars your dps are killing their heals faster.
I’m just amazed at how there have been so many great arena seasons in the past and how they can’t build off of them… It just makes no sense that they can’t take some lessons from wrath or mop on what made arena good. It’s not something they have to figure out, they already did it.

I rerolled out of Disc for good now. I’m now maining a DH which a intend to play for the remainder of BFA.

It’s more fun currently than the previous iteration of high damp games.
Isn’t it the same experience for the healer on the other team though? I know double melee has traditionally had a pretty easy time killing discs in the past even before nerfs were in place, but your not gonna queue into a hard counter every game. I feel like if both teams in the arena are putting out decent pressure both sides should be going OOM so your not alone.
Ok you got me i need to log in and give this a try. I want to see how bad you are exaggerating cause if i go on my druid and get off more than 3 regrowths and still have more than 5% mana i am gonna laugh.
Ehh some melee cleaves like WW Dk or DK Dh etc will probably just become meta and priest won’t really have a chance since those comps are way too tanky tbh
I’ve noticed it’s ok vs some things on ladder but really once people just change up what they que will probably be in an even worse spot

I typically play with an rdruid. This season, I’ve really had the desire to play with a priest to diversify my comp skillset. I sincerely, and genuinely feel sorry for priest players. I am at a loss on what to do to help them, it feels as if as soon as a melee connects, its a desperate race. Despite the priest playing very well. I still will continue to play disc/bm in the future. All I can do is offer my sincerest support to disc. Blizz did not do right by you, and many other classes. It’s a sad state of affairs currently in WoW.

Sure, but isn’t the issue then… no one will want to play as a healer. It’s already a tedious position that can be really unenjoyable with inexperienced players. Like yesterday, cued up some games with a rogue. Rogue was getting annilated by this warrior. Every global was spam healing. We lose. Rogue says… “why didn’t you mc more?” and puts me on ignore. I never said anything negative to him and he wouldn’t even give me the chance to respond.
Like, why should anyone deal with that? And it’s consistent. Players just don’t understand what the healer is dealing with now. It’s not fun. It sucks to have so much pressure on just trying to keep some braindead dps alive… only to lose and have them say “what’s the deal?”

It’s called balance, now more comps can compete in arena than having a healer dps combo where the healer is more harder to kill than a tank for no reason.

Priests are the easiest kill target in this game right now.
There are very few comps that can q right now because the meta is a combination of spriest/ele/destro/fire/unholy/fury with rdruids and mw sitting back and healing from africa.

Is Blizzard going to leave healers the way they are now or are they going to continue adjusting them?
The best players in this game play healer. Why? Look at what a healer needs to do compared to a dps. All blizzard have done is put more pressure on healers. Goodluck finding healers for 3v3 now. Many have unsubbed, rolled dps, taken to pve. So those saying the changes are fine. Goodluck

I play arenas casually (healer), and have been since WoD for the elite sets and whatnot. For me, this is the worst iteration. The class gutting, the GCD, mana regen nerf and maledict trinkets made it really dull and more furstrating than fun.
I’m really just playing for a couple of rewards right now, not because it’s fun.
