Never said you did. I just happened to bring up making the spec feel good and someone snapped and said no one cares about that lol
yea people who say that are the problem. what good is a spec that is top tier damage if it feels bad to play. i hate playing aug in raid because if you want to play it right its a spreadsheet spec. ide rather just go dev and not have to rely on others. while everyone liked feral df season 1 it actually didnt feel fun to me so i didnt do to much on it. ive been playing feral for most of wow im use to our damage being bad so i have always worried about the spec feeling fun over our damage. as long as were mid of the pack im happy. why would you play this if not for fun
So do you run:
1/1 Coiled to Spring
2/2 Tireless Energy
1/1 Savage Fury
1/1 Moment of Clarity
Its a hit to DPS by quite a little but it does speed the spec up more so youre not waiting and pooling near as much.
i got 1 in tireless and 1 in savage. the other 2 are a much more noticeable drop in dps. maybe when i get 4pc ill be able to even it out for them
Youâre contradicting yourself and proving my point with this.
Spending all 5 points in those talents will smooth out your gameplay and make it feel better.
So you donât actually stand behind:
So choosing a worse feeling gameplay for the sake of increased DPS is the same prioritization over keeping DoTs going and watching a Ravage fall off.
because i dont want to do tank damage? doing tank damage doesnt feel fun either. i dont mind feral being bad but trash isnt fun
So which is it?
You prefer feel good game play that doesnt fit into reality numbers
Or you prefer the reality numbers that doesnt have the feel good game play
Play for the feel good or play for the numbers?
i just told your⌠i prefer to have fun. the goal of any game is fun how are you missing that. what good is huge dps if its not fun? same as how is it fun if it feels good to play but your dps is tank dps? now your just a burden on your group and that isnt fun. if your not playing to have fun why are we even discussing this?
Because it feels good to playâŚlol you keep saying but skipping over it at the same time.
Not at all, plenty of difficulty levels to fit in to anyones preferred game play style. Tanks doing 600k damage is more than enough for up to m4s and normal raids and what not
cool so ill take my 600k dps and run mythic 10s and mythic raid and not be the burden in my guild. awesome ill tell them grizzle said its ok
Lets not be disingenuous. Lets look at the context:
Truth is, you dont play for the fun of it. You play for the reality of it. And theres nothing wrong with that. While i have my own issues with Feral, its shortcomings fall flat in the face of its fun in the competitive edge
as your not me dont speak for me because you will look foolish. i play for fun and the fact you keep missing that point says alot about your reading skills
You said you donât like the slowed down version of the state of Ferals
Yet you wonât play the talents thatâll speed it up and make it more fun because you wonât do as good of dps
Youâre sacrificing your version of fun for the sake of âdoing betterâ.
This is what we just discussed and what youâve just admitted to.
While there are some huge changes for feral, Iâve slowly been getting the hang of it. Feral can actually hold their own against the other classes quite easily. Definitely a brand new learning curve.
Method is actually using a feral Druid in the race to world first.
Iâve gotta say itâs the first time Iâve seen a feral in RWF since Tomb of sageras.
Get the right trinkets, look for ones that will benifit your AOE in mythic plus, and also look for ones that will help you chunk harder on single target.
Yes they are a bit clunky, hero talents are kind of lacking fantasy and shapeshifting seriously needs to change, especially in pvp.
But if you are staking feral up looking at it from a pure damage perspective. They are in a good spot now.
Feral was featured heavily in Amirdrassil back in DF S3. There were even times Liquid and Echo ran two ferals in a fight.
Now, this wasnât because feral was incredible, just that the other 3 druid specs werenât very good for RWF and those teams had to get mark and roar from somewhere. But this is the second time in the past calendar year weâre getting to see some feral representation in RWF.
If we go over to MDI though, feral druid had 100% (or close to it) representation in DF S1. Feral druidâs uncapped AOE was bananas then, and with 35-mob pulls, it carried hard. That was one of the few times feral druid was brought to an eSports WoW competition on its own merits rather than simply being the least disappointing way to get druid utility.
didnt say that. nice try though. notice how everything you quoted never said that either. bro do you even read?
Feral was another thing they got right in legion
yea it doesnt feel good compared to other energy based classes. it feels pretty normal for feral the red headed step child lol. still not me saying i dont like it. if we compare to others then yea its objectively bad having to sit and wait. nobody likes sitting around waiting to do something
I picked up my feral druid for the first time since it hit 80 and started leveling leatherworking. It just feels⌠lacking? Maybe gear helps, but the flow just doesnât feel like itâs there to me. Iâve been devoting most of my time to my monk and it feels better to me as a energy/point spec by comparison. Itâs not about the bleed vs direct damage either, just the gameplay. I also have a strong dislike for the loss of feral extended range. It feels real awkward to stand under a bossâ sack to be able to hit with some abilities. Jmo
