Logs are 1 of two purely single target fights.
Week two of raid, balance patches left and right. Classes still performing 20 percent less than others. Many classes with over 50 percent less spec representation. I’m looking at you fire/frost mage. Rogues need addressed, all three specs bless their heart. Just look at the data.
Aoe fights differ just, but still shows some another unbalanced list. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/38#boss=2919&difficulty=4&sample=7
Why are fury warriors so far ahead? The dmg profile of odyns fury and blade storm is why. And it’s not balanced. If you intend on us doing this raid make it competitive. As it stands even if you play perfectly, you probably won’t beat a fury warrior in this fight. And some classes are still at the bottom even though we have an add fight. I’m looking at spriest/ both druid specs, all hunter specs.
Last patch we saw a 4 percent buff of spriests dmg. Why? They could have received a 12 percent buff and still wouldn’t be close. Make it make sense.
These are just two examples on the matter, but feel free to dispute this. Every fight, classes are getting beat by an Aug evoker or barely scooting by. When something is beating you by 200k dps for 7 consecutive minutes, that’s 84,000,000 dps.
Speed of kill, incomplete tier sets, slots with placeholder pieces of gear.
You want to see sweeping changes based on data from 1 Heroic fight that can be manipulated with AoE padding?
My brother no one cares. You want Blizzard to react to something that is not problematic.
One of WoWs best features is that where one class excels, another is average and vice versa.
Would you rather every class be pruned and reduced to small attack 1, medium attack 1, large attack 1 that dealt the same same damage and functioned the same across all classes?
I know. Balance changes are made around 300 people that played perfectly.
Weird take for you to read that entire post and then choose to defend only fury warrior. Three warrior does so much AOE damage that it is the top of overall ray damage across all bosses. Meanwhile, they do less than an Aug evoker in ST. The whole dynamic is designed poorly for fury warrior. Trust me, I know, I play it.
You’re standing on a hill that you will die alone on. The only person advocating for a game to be unbalanced is the person that is playing the flavor of the month. Worst take on the forms. Literally no one has said that in the history of time. I have never seen a foreign post once where someone said “ arcane mage is doing 30% more single target damage than me, I’m asking playing a mage but I’m playing fire, I like it this way”
No. I want a balanced game so people don’t cherry pick what spec and class they let in there raids.
Yes. Ongod.
Yes, they’re terrible.
Looking forward for the 60 people that clear the raid on mythic in the next two days so blizzard will know how to balance the game.
Aoe is not everything and they aren’t even top on that, they are good at burst aoe, but any consistent amount of cleave/aoe they fall behind other specs.
Of course they will look the best on heroic raids, the fights end quickly and you can pad the meter every time there are adds up for 3 seconds before they die.
100 percent agree. Dmg profile looks good when the mobs die precisely after pressing avatar/thunderous roar/rampage/odyns fury/bladestorm. But 60 seconds after that you’re looking at yourself at the middle of the pack.
There’s only 2 single target fights in the raid, why focus exclusively on single target DPS balance?
Some classes are just going to be better at ST or AoE or cleave or spread cleave, etc. It’s a problem when 1 spec is top for most or all of the different types of fights or if it’s a raid like Aberrus where it’s mostly ST.
