How compatible are the stat weights for windwalker and Mistweaver. I’m looking to generally play windwalker, but Do arena as mist weaver.
Am I going to be getting two full sets of gear? Or just weapons and trinkets for swapping… I hope it’s the latter.
Mistweaver is leaning towards crit, vers. Windwalker is traditionally mastery, vers.
In Arena vers is gonna overshadow most secondaries and mastery for mw is not “dead”.
There will be room to optimize if you decide to do one gear set but it’s entirely up to you how you want to go forward.
Every time I sim my monk I get mastery as the lowest stat weight.

Healer sims are to be used very cautiously as healers have much more variance in their ability choices.
Mastery tends to perform better in situations where ST heals are used more (pvp, dungeons and raid tank healing). Obviously this is because the mastery will be triggered more often.
However crit is good in all occasions and due to that is the general go to.
That’s probably because you have way more Mast than other states. We now have diminishing returns on stats, but this time it’s based on the gap between one stats. Blizzard has decided to keep a ratio between stats now and if any one ratio gets too high it gets devalued. So changing a single ring can make mastery go from best to worst. The only way to sim your gear correctly anymore is the gear compare, stat weights are no longer going to be something you can trust.
