It seems Crit is very important, mastery not as much. I have my loot set to resto but I have like 51% mastery, 17% crit 31% haste and 3% vers. Is setting it to resto not a good idea?
What loot spec you set it to will not affect the stats that exist on gear. It will impact what weapons and trinkets you get to drop.
Edit: Also, 51% mastery isn’t a lot for resto, that stat scales differently for just about every spec and every class in the game.
If you want to be resto, its fine. It wont change the stat priority on items you get to drop. Really just effects trinkets (vs elemental).
I am at about 39% crit, 21% haste, 35% mastery, 14% vers.
I wlil probably end up tweaking it for slightly more haste.
Not saying I am the person you should model yourself after. But it works for me. And I find that spread (or close to it) fairly common between many other R-Shams going through m+.
