Do destruction warlocks, in BFA, have any caps on their stats? Particularly for mastery, haste and critical strike and if so, what are they?
They don’t.
nope use sims to find your stat weights for your gear. im fairly certain the only thing that we avoid as much as possible is vers.
We avoid vers because mastery does the exact same thing only way better right?

Not really. Mastery sims under verse for me right now.
In general yes, but for example I have the verse % corruption so verse is actually highest priority for me. I would trade everything to get 3x the haste % corruption though.

So basically ignore stat weights. That era is falling if not already dead.
Raidbots>Top Gear>profit.
Sim any potential upgrades.

Vers is simming highest for me at 462 ilvl
Has there been a vers buff behind the scenes? A lot of classes are really going for it these days and it seems like just yesterday it was only meh.
Part of that probably comes from corruptions like Infinite Stars and Twilight Devastation benefitting from crit/vers and typically not from haste/mastery for most classes afaik.
Edit: Scratch that, the RPPM for those effects benefit from haste too, so it’s just mastery that does nothing for them.
