Hey guys I’m thinking about getting back into WoW classic again this week. I stopped playing a few months back during the horde zerg. But I decided to start a fresh account with a druid. Just wondering how long it’ll take for me to solo level to 60 in the current state. I know there wont be many groups for early instances but I’m guessing by ZF things will be back to normal right? So how long does it take for a druid to go from 12-60 right now, playing maybe 3-4hrs per day?
I’ll definitely throw in some binge days where I’ll do 12 hours or so like on a saturday. But just wondering if people are still doing lv40+ instances like ZF/BRD/Strat etc.
3-4 hours a day? Probably a month.
It’s hard to say, maybe 1.5 to 2 months? Depends on how efficient you are during those 3 hours a day. Dungeons are pretty slim depending on the server you’re on, most pugs these days are for stuff like MC/ZG/AQ20 etc. Your best bet for stuff like brd, strat/scholo, LBRS is being in a guild.

50-60 alone will take someone probably 60 hours of playtime just grinding mobs nonstop, and obviously more if they spend time going to cities to buy / sell, do dungeons, pvp, etc. At 4 hours a day of constant grinding those last 10 levels would take about half a month.

I see I dont mind it taking a month to get there… but just wondering if the 40-58 instances are dead? Like no one is LFG for Strat/BRD anymore? Cause then I might go mage or something and level alone.
Lots of folks level alts and do early dungeons still.

You can definitely still find groups for 50+ dungeons.

Luckily as a Druid you can tank while leveling, especially since feral is the best to level as. That makes starting and joining dungeon pugs a lot easier for you. 40-50 dungeons are pretty rare these days but 50+ isn’t too bad, just be prepared to start a lot of the groups yourself.

Cool I’ll give this druid a try, I was a warlock before, kind of tired of casting. I tried to level a warrior but o…m…g. Definitely dont wanna try it now when times are rough. Thanks guys for giving me hope!

Druid is a lot of fun to level, especially when you get kitty at 20!

lol yea I remember seeing druids in instances and I’d think… wow that person is probably having a blast. And tranquility looks so beautiful too, one of my favorite spells to watch. I’m gonna give em a shot!
