Starting to think Sylvanas did nothing wrong

If I clip one more tree branch while dragon riding I’m going to lose my sanity. Find some Druid of the Flame to teach me how to burn trees because apparently they are evil.

It’s a show-stopper for sure.

Honestly this expansion is really empty without Sylvanus. There is no WoW without Sylvanus featured in an expansion. She is the bread and butter of WoW. It would be great to see the next expansion to have her and her Simp Lord return for Expansion 11: Rise of Sylvanus. There is so much potential and possibility, we have just scratched the surface for Sylvanus and her character arc.

The entire xpac lacks horde or alliance. It just has dragons, some fishing people, some hunting half-people, and some really annoying explorers.

Edit: I got it, it is like a dragon themed tourist trap. Would you like to buy a key chain, bumper sticker, and a post card to commemorate your time playing DF?

“Don’t look so smug. I know what you’re thinking, but The Maw was merely a setback. Did you honestly believe I would trust the future to that bald, half-necrolord mongrel? Oh no, no, no. He was merely an instrument a stepping stone to a much larger plan! It has all led to this…and this time you will not interfere!”

My fav are the annoying tree branches that get in my way during RLP.

I hope with her soul restored though she’ll actually be more like a sane Garrosh and strengthen the Horde while fighting the opposition like it’s been since WC1 days. That we actually get back to the foundation of WoW / Warcraft and what it is. Happy tree friend picking flowers in dragon land isn’t what WC is or ever has been. It’s been fighting to survive, fighting to dominate and the Horde struggling to find a place, secure it and overcome obstacles to prosper. Guess in a few years we’ll see where we end up though. Good thing the Forsaken don’t have to hold their breathe like the rest of us do.

Issue was Sylvanas was written with such heavy plot armor that the writers/devs didn’t care how much damage she did when ham fisting her through from A to B.

Killing her would be easier than trying to use her again for any plot point.

From a militant standpoint? No

The only thing the Horde deserves is complete eradication for every single one of their war crimes against the Alliance.

For Sylvanas to do something wrong, there would actually have to be some kind of moral framework within the world. Blizzard has seen fit to throw that out the window so IMHO any judgement of “Right and Wrong” went with it.

Yeah, like the Purge of Dalaran, overrunning quel’thalas to steal the Sunwell, why that Horde they … they …

Hey wait a second …

Even the Leader of the Blood Elves said himself in the lore cutscenes in WoW “The Horde exists because of the Alliance and what they’ve done to us.”

They had to band together to survive because of what was done to us. Regardless if we’re going to have expansions I hope it goes back to the roots and we get down to business. It’d be fun to see where it goes.

You’re joking, right? Sylvanas is, without a doubt, the biggest idiot among all racial leaders.

She resurrected a known traitor, who, of course, betrayed and killed her. Most people would realize that since Godfrey betrayed his own leader, he doesn’t feel any particular loyalty to his respective head of state. But not Syl, whose own entrance into the unlife she now enjoys should have earned her a Darwin Award.

Syl, of all people, should understand the whole betrayal thing. She betrayed Varian, leading to his death.

She tried to kill Greymane, but instead dispatched Liam. How does she, on horseback, try to shoot someone else on horseback, about ten feet away, miss, and kill someone on the ground instead? Nice shooting, Syl. You could shoot at the ground and miss.

She intends to use the Plague on the Gilneans (defying Garrosh, which is also a stupid thing to do), but leaves it unprotected so that a 14th level Worgen can destroy it.

Sylvanas’s entire life, as well as her unlife, is a litany of blunders and miscalculations. The bill for her stupidity is long past due.

It is not Dragon Riding fault. You just need to get “gud” that what all the pro-Dragon Riders claim.

Sir/maam you had no right to make me laugh that hard.

This should be in the next novel.

Aren’t you supposed to be in the maw right now? :stuck_out_tongue:
