Starting to earn rep for new factions

Just hit 120 the other day and got my WQ unlocked and was able to play for a few days with the WQ bonus event going on but I did notice that you don’t gain a lot of rep from some of the WQ considering there was a bonus to the rep gained at only like two factions I’ve managed to just break over the half way point to revered.

I’m looking at both unlocking allied races as well as being able to continue my questing since apparently Blizz decided to rep gate the War Campaign quest line. Now I don’t have the time to play every day and grab all possible WQ for total rep gain possible in the week. Right now with work plus other activities going on outside of WoW I can manage at least 4 days of playtime maybe 5 if I can stretch with varying hours each day.

I am sure right of the bat I know some people will tell me I should probably give up playing the game if I don’t have the time to dedicate full time into WoW almost but I truly do not want o give up on WoW I love the game and have been playing since BC/Wrath.

Sorry for the long post but I was hoping that maybe explaining my situation that I am sure matches other people’s schedules if I could get a ball park estimate of how long it would take to hit exalted with at least the new factions assuming I can at least catch the majority of DMF weeks and also the WQ bonus weeks as well.

A good chunk of your rep will come from the emissary quests. (You get 1500 for the turn in for the relevant faction.) Make those your priority and you’ll get the most rep for the least effort. (I can usually knock out an Emissary in 10-20 minutes depending on luck with which quests spawn.) For most factions, you’ll average about 9000 rep per month just from the Emissaries alone. So, with just emissaries (and not accounting for the DMF or any extra world quests you do) it’s about 3 months to get everything to exalted from mid way to revered.

For the War Campaign faction, you’ll get a decent chunk of rep for doing the weekly Island Expedition quest. As I recall, it takes about 7 normal Islands to fill up the bar, so about one per day on average. Also, if you happen to be online during an Incursion, that will give you a little rep for the incursion world quests and 500 for the final quest turn it. Wowhead’s front page has a timer for them.

+1 on the catching an incursion and doing emissaries. These will both help!

Get a contract for a given rep you want (e.g., 7th Legion/Honorbound), so when you do get some time you’ll get +10 for each WQ you complete. It’s not much, but it adds up.

Also, you can send out your followers for rep missions as well.

Yeah trying to always send out companions on rep missions. Thanks for the tips will definitely try to catch emissaries as much as possible. How long do the contracts last? Never used one before

The contracts last 7 days.

Ok cool thanks Zekhan
