Starting Korthia on a fresh level 60 alt

So, I just dinged 60 on my Hunter. Can I skip everything and just go straight to Korthia? If so, what are the requirements? On this character I have completed all the story stuff.

After you chose your covenant, report to your sanctum, do whatever, then when they task you to go report to oribos, you can talk to bolvar again twice to say you’ve already seen everything.

Lol you think blizz with their #timeplayed metrics would let you skip all that? Nope.

They don’t even let us skip the beginning maw stuff.

But they do.

The covenant stuff is much easier than Korthia and gives a quicker opportunity to gear up. But then I’m not a great player and gearing greatly helps my survival. I’m kind of doing both. Getting Renown via only Korthia will be much slower.

You have to do a few things before you can skip to Korthia, but you can definitely get there fast. Send Korthian armaments! They are noice.

Take advantage of the brawl this week (Comp Stomp). It’s against NPCs and lasts less than 5 minutes, gives 480 honor per win and can easily get upgraded honor gear.

I did Threads of Fate. I headed over to my Sanctum once I hit level 60 but there were no quests there. Do I need to be at a certain renowned?

No at 60 in thread of fate, the quest to continue is in Oribos. You choose covenant there, on bolvar’s table. Then they give you a quest to go to your sanctum. If all else fail, check your current campaign quest. If it tells you to go to torghast, you’re too far already. Talk to Bolvar to skip.

I just leveled an alt a couple days ago too and I believe you had to be 40 renown to trigger the Polemarch Adrestes cutscene at Bolvar’s table (9.1). That’s where Anduin shows up at Bastion Hold and rekts the big kyrian girl. After that you can talk to Bolvar and tell him you’ve seen this before (skip option and go straight to Korthia). Did I also mention this week’s brawl gives renown??

You don’t need it on your alt if you’ve already seen it on another character. I skipped to Korthia on my brand new warlock 10 mins after getting 60.

Edit : i believe the treshold is removing the eye of the jailer. Once that’s done, every character on that account can skip.

Damn. Only renown 10. Well, this sucks.

It’s not true. I’m pretty sure the only thing you’re required to do is the introductory covenant quests up to the part where you’re asked to go into Torghast. At which point all you have to do is talk to Bolvar and pick the red “I’ve already heard this” option a couple times until you’re given the quest to go to Korthia.

I chose my covenant a while ago. There is no quest offered in Oribos and Bolvar isn’t offering to skip anything. Do I need to do a bit of the covenant quest at least up to the point I get the quest for Torghast?

I’ll give this a try.

Thanks everyone for the help.

AH buy 200 ilvl gear that fits your main stat preference. Grind for the gear that you can rank up. Drops pretty easy

but…you can. Once you talk to your covenant, you can basically skip to where you are in Korthia. You lose out on a loot box and rep and embers, etc but yes you can skip

Yea my DK stumbled into Korthia, he’s at, like, renown 6.

I tried to get him to do the Maw WB, but since it’s in the Beastwarrens, he got murdered by the curse.

Then I talked to the Polemarch, and said “skip everything”.

DING

I’m in Korthia, ok for Beastwarrens, and I’m on my way. It skipped a LOT of stuff. No going in to Torghast 17 times.

170ish DK getting 200 drops and currency to upgrade them. I’m on Chapter 4 of the Chains campaign, and 3 of my Covenant campaign.
