I recently came back to the game after years away for Shadowlands. I’ve hit 60 and started gearing characters but I’d love to get some of these allied races. However on this character I boosted to 50, I have no idea how to start the war campaign or anything from past expansions. Would love any help on how to start the War campaign, I didn’t see anything in Org or Zuldazar for quests.
The Boost should have the intro stuff for BfA already flagged as completed. So, start off by taking the portal to Zuldazar. First, it’s probably a good idea to pick up the Heart of Azeroth, as not doing the initial HoA quest might block some other stuff. Take the portal to Silithus from Zuldazar, and do Magni’s quests for the Heart. (The followup quest to Nazmir shouldn’t be necessary.)
After that, you should be able to conintue the War Campaign from Nathanos on the Banshee’s Wail in the harbor. For the zone quests, you should be able to pick them up from the scouting map. Once you’ve started one, you’ll need to a bit into the zone before you can go back and pick another one. (Generally, “far enough” means getting to the first major hub in the zone.) At one point, horde boosts had the Nazmir starter quest in their log already. I don’t know if that’s still the case, but if the scouting map has nothing, it’s something to check.
And while doing all the zones for the necessary achievements for the zandalar trolls you will get the ones necessary for the vulpera and mag’har orcs FYI. The other two you will have to go to legion for. I personally haven’t done the elf one but the highmountain Tauren was pretty easy as I just did all the quests in the zone
