Starting A Paladin

Hey everyone!

So I plan on starting a Paladin with a very large focus on healing/light tanking (lol) later in the game. I’m making a forum post because I’m trying to find some macros here.

Is there any kind of macro that can basically cast Seal of the Crusader, cast Judgement and then cast Seal of Righteousness?

You could make a cast sequence macro

/castsequence Seal of crusader, judgment, seal of rightousness

I find it easier to keep Seal of the Crusader on a separate keybind, and then make a Judgment macro that is just

/cast Judgment
/cast Seal of Righteousness

Judgment is off the GCD, so you don’t need anything fancy.

The reason for separating the seals is that your melee strikes refresh Judgment of the Crusader, so generally you only need to cast it once per encounter (you would generally only be using it on bosses, to conserve mana). A cast sequence would force you to recast Seal of the Crusader on each pass, which most of the time you wouldn’t need to do.

Oh wow this works AMAZINGLY! Tysm!

FYI if your new to healing get HealBot. Simple tool that makes dungeon healing 1000% easier.

Also +1 to the above. Bind SoR and Judgement onto one macro. You will judge and re-seal with the same keystroke. Zero downtime. Then bind judgement only to another button in the cases you dont want to spend mana on a re-seal.

For example you could do Seal of Crusader on button 1, judge on Q, SoR/Judge macro on 2.

Then your sequence would be 1, Q, 2 to open each fight and you have crusader on the mob with SoR sealed. From there your just judge via button 2 or Q depending upon if you want to re-seal SoR or not.

Thanks so much for the info! HealBot is actually what I started with way back in mid 2008! Never can (and I’ve tried so much) now get into Clique or Vuhdo.
