I want to start a guild but I dont want to hassle and beg for signatures in chat.
How come we’re not able to just start a guild when we want? I’d be okay with paying more if I didn’t have to obtain signatures.
The way I look at it, if I did beg for signatures, I would most likely remove the people who signed after the guild is formed, merely because they’re only interested in the gold given for signatures, why not just cut out the middle man and allow players to form without signatures?

Easiest thing to do is buy them. Unfortunately depending on your server it is a lot harder than you could imagine.
When I was forming one on Magtheridon for my guys there it took me 2 months to find enough players actually on the server.
Edit: to your point, yes, I would prefer to do it w/o signatures.

I agree. Lots of times I want my own guild with either just me for the bank.

You need to just bite the bullet and ask in trade. Say you’re paying 1k a sig and you’ll have it up and running in a few minutes. Nobody cares about being kicked or asking lame questions about your guild you’re making. I make personal guilds, lots. I kick signers or they leave immediately. And if I’m signing, I just leave immediately.
Just say it soon as guild is created “NOTHING PERSONAL boot”

I could barely find people in main cities, and when I did they weren’t on the right servers. I found better luck going out to some lowbie zones and actually get the signatures pretty quick. A bit of a pain, I’d rather pay extra gold just to be done with making a guild.

God I would’ve loved to not need signatures when I made my bank guild years ago. That was like pulling teeth.

And inviting your own alts should be a thing. I create new ones to try and really hate bothering people to help me out.

I just randomly ran around the city and asked anyone not in a guild to sign for me. Got all sigs for free in like 5 mins.

i make a little side gold with sigs… on my server usually ppl pay 1-2k per sig
i think the reasoning it isn’t even easier to do… is then they may as well just give everyone guild bank space of their own…
from a data storage perspective thats gonna add up fast… and hard at the server end.
Has the price gone up that much? Back in the day (Cata), when I made my Horde guild for my alts, I gave people like 5 or 10 gold lol
when a daily calling gives out 1-2k+ in gold sure…
Keep a level 1 (well, below 20) on an inactive account. I have my own guilds (for just me and my alts) on at least 5 different servers and that is how I get my alts in.
