Was there a recent change or something?
All of a sudden my random BG queue times are like 2-3 times longer than they have been.
Whenever we do get into games now there are also insanely geared level 29 players that run premades and que up on accounts from the opposite faction to try to speed up the queue times somewhat.
It’s a really bad experience to go from under 5 minute queues to 30 minute or 1 hour queues times just to get crushed by exploiters who made level 29 twinks to prey on starter edition.
I have many starter edition friends who came to the game for pvp and who were considering subbing who have now lost interest or quit over the past week due to this change.
Blizz, this is going to kill any interest in the game that anyone playing starter edition has. It’s not fun to wait in such terrible queue times to face exploiters.

I play on a monthly budget. Sometimes I can’t get WoW right away. I kept a few trial characters when my sub ran out and played them in BGs.
But nice that’s now ruined

“Exploiters”? There are no exploiters in the XP off bracket. You are either XP off or XP on.
So funny to see Twinked vet accounts and F2P accounts crying about “PVP experience” being bad.
As if F2P and Vet accounts have not been wrecking levelers for several years now?
When leveling new toons, I would skip the 20s bracket BGs because of F2P/Vet account twinks, you guys would 1-2 shot, maybe 3 shot most levelers, now you can’t. As you guys told pay to play twinks back in the day “adapt!”.

If vet accounts were bad for levelers I can only imagine what blizzard and the community at large would feel like if they examined any activity from you or Holy Crit over the past few years.
The only reason why there is any activity at all now is due to scum/exploiters who are queuing on multiple accounts to falsely generate battleground pops. These are being done on the same starter edition accounts that blizz changed to be considered xpoff.
This will become more and more prevalent as new level 29 finish gearing and make the experience even worse for incoming starter edition players.
The only people who are in support of this change are bracket tourists or those in possession of an old twink from the old 60 or 70 bracket prior to the level squish.
