I started playing hardcore less than a month ago and have been having the most fun I have ever had in classic. Lost a 37 hunter, made a couple of druids (after losing one) and having a blast.
But after the announcement today, it just feels like I’m wasting time playing anymore on the current servers. I really dont want to have to level through Teldrassil for a 3rd time so soon, but ultimately will for fresh. It’s just very dissapointing to have all this fun stunted for a week until new servers are out.
I don’t understand why we’re getting a new HC server, forcing the new rush of players to just restart after getting their characters past level 30 (50+ hours of playtime). On top of that, timegating the raids for the dedicated gamers who will speed through it anyway (and farm molten core for months).
New players wasted their time, dedicated players won’t get to progress through the raids when they hit 60 (very quickly). Is the new server just to refresh the economy for non-SSF players? I sad.
This is like if people bought a brand new car, then complain 12 months later saying they wasted their money because it’s not new anymore and other people are buying the newer ones.
Also you cannot have fully geared p6 HC players transferring to fresh normal realms, so to feed HC’s into the fresh realm, they had to make a synchronous HC server.
Really bad example. In 12 months the new car will still get me from point A to point B. The new car will still have value to me in 12 months. In 8 days, original servers will be ghost towns. Meaning, everything we do now is literally pointless.
Here is a good example. The people around me in HC have firey enchants on a level 15. We need fresh because they have invested more time and have things i don’t.
