Now I do think it is probable that they will be the next class, but it’s not the only possibility.
That said, I have names ready for my Mechagnome Tinker. Because lets face it, Mechagnomes are why the Tinker crowd is so hopeful.
Tinkers have a higher chance of making it into the game than Necromancers do.

Also…I don’t know why people get mad at a new class discussion or speculation so much (not bad so far in this thread) but there are two popular new classes everyone is speculating about. Tinkers and Necromancers. Both are just speculation now but if both get released then everyone wins.
I can tell you right now with absolute certainty which one of these will be the least played and least popular.
Because ghostbusters. Although it could be anything. Nothing is confirmed, and I won’t get up my hopes until it is. Luckily we don’t have to wait long.

Based off what? Your opinion? The opinion of those in agreement with you? I don’t get this hate towards a class that is being speculated or may or may not be released at any time. Do you have hard numbers to back up your claims? Seriously, it’s a class I would be interested in but would not care if it never became a part of the game. Thing that gets me though is people’s wholehearted anger towards a thought that is not even in existence yet. Pure speculation and purely hated on. Yet the Necromancer is the same thing and yet it is supposed the golden child and a sure thing…despite the fact that it is nothing more than speculation itself.
Also, this week feels like it’s moving too slow. And I know it’s anticipation. But it could go a bit faster.
Not guaranteed that Shadowlands is the name of the next expansion, the leaks could all be fakes made by the same guy in some basement of his house.
All we know for sure is Undeath and the Void will play a part in the next expansion. N’zoth might loose a fight coming soon, but this does not mean he’s out.
Tinkers have been requested just as much as Demon Hunters for just as long, we got Demon Hunters. On the other hand, Blizzard flat out said Death Knights were Necromancers at a Blizzcon Q&A a few years back. Granted enough time has gone by, and WOW has a whole different team now so they might do Necros next. But it isn’t the only possibility, nor is it the most logical. We have no idea what will happen next, nor do we know the actual themes of the next expansion.
