Starfire still hitting for 1500+ Spriests still instant bursting for 1500+ When is this game getting balanced?

skill against surviving 3000 damage instant burst. Yep, nothing but skill there. What two buttons do warlocks have again that deal 1500 damage instantly?

I keep a shadow protection potion while doing PvP in the wild. It has helped. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Starsurge is not HITTING for no 1500. Not even critting for 1000.

EDIT: I did misread Starsurge instead of Starfire. Starfire is a cast compared to Starsurges instant. Is that not what people were whining about?

StarFIRE is a long cast like Choas Bolt. It’s supposed to hit super hard.
StarSURGE is the instant cast that WAS way too strong and now hits for a few hundred.
Starsurge increases the damage of Starfire. Just like Incinerate increases the damage of Fire Spells like Chaos Bolt.

Yes, all the classes that can teleport you around, and conjour you food, and summon you, and the priest tanking class, and the warriors with rez, and the paladin with combat rez, and the rogue with rejuv.

whoa buddy, moving goal posts pretty hard, 3k damage and 1500 damage are very different numbers. You have the tools to fight back you just don’t want to use them.

Then ur gear is literal dog.

The average damage non-crit for those abilities in PVP combined is around 900-1000. That’s assuming full stacks of shadow weaving on the target too.

Priests are strong but I keep constantly seeing people claim SW:Death hits for more than the highest parsing raid shadow priests in the game are hitting for. It’s just such obvious and transparent complaining.

Post patch? What, with 3 mind spikes and a mind blast/SWD? That’s a long time to let someone cast spells on you.

Problem is they can do it all. They deleted every weakness that the spec had and gave them insane tools on top of their insane damage.

Disperse 2min cd is the best defensive in the game and its not even close. and it gets even worse than that because you can swap boots and get Pain Suppression and cycle them between fights meaning you have the two best defensive cooldowns in the game.

Shadowform buff, Disperse, and Shadow fiend evaporate all mana problems.

Shadowfiend and Hommuculus ensure you never lose to a caster because you have infinity spellpushback

If you aren’t being focused you have some of the highest PVP burst in the game with mindspike/mindblast/death/

If you are pressured your dots alone will kill any class without selfhealing.
