Starfall aggro

Good morning all, happy Taco Tuesday! I’ve recently leveled this druid to 60 and have been having some fun screwing around, there’s a lot of potential in this class that isn’t apparent outside of playing one. I have a question about Starfall, the issue is aggro and my pulling of additional mobs during a pull. I would love to say it is bad positioning on my part, but I want to be sure.

When the spell is cast, and the damage is falling within the 40yd range, will it damage all enemies or just enemies I’m in combat with?

I believe it’s the latter but want to confirm. Wowhead/icy-veins didn’t seem to provide suficient information.

It hits all enemies “in combat”, not just in combat with you. If they are doing that mock combat thing with other npc’s it will still hit them.

It’s suppose to only work against mobs you’re in combat with, aggro’ed or your party/raid has aggro’ed.

But like all Blizzard things, it doesn’t follow those rules sometimes. Sometimes it pulls mobs from Npc’s, other players even if those players are part of another faction…

Yea, these rules also apply for convoke.
