good advice

I queue on two characters. Stagger the queue just a bit.

Basically if the queue is fast, I queue my 2nd account right when the gates open on account 1.

By the time I reach the west FW tower on account 1, account 2 usually pops.

If account 2 pops unexpectedly early, I’ll stop account 1 at IWT or TP.

Wish we had RDF, literally no logical reason for it not to be implemented.

Thanks for the easily reportable dungeon finder spam thread.

No problem bootlicker I’m sure you’ll have your MVP badge in no time just keep that tongue out

Here’s a logical reason: Blizzard sells more paid boosts if RDF is not implemented.

It’s actually quite logical from a financial perspective. Adding RDF would be financially illogical, especially since the bulk of their Classic profits come from paid boosts.

You know what’s really illogical though? Thinking that this game design decision was made to market a product that the company itself has put a cap on… If all of this is just a big conspiracy to sell the stupid level boost, it would make absolutely no sense to slap a limit on it.

I believe you might underestimate how many people buy a second account/second sub to then buy a 2nd boost. The amount of money this brings in is surely not insignificant.

Sounds like something a pro-RDFer will do.

I’ll be running dungeons with my fellow realm mate LFGers.

BG finder and RDF are the same concept and idea

I don’t deny for a moment that people do this kind of thing, but certainly if the idea is to make more money, it would make far more sense not to put roadblocks between yourself and the cash lining your customers’ pockets, even if you know that some portion of your customers will go to whatever lengths are necessary to circumvent those roadblocks.

I’m just saying, let’s use Occam’s Razor in our reasoning here. It’s extremely unlikely that the boost idea came from the devs themselves in the first place. After all, why would they care how much money is being generated when they aren’t corporate shareholders? And why would they ever want to actively allow players to completely skip the very content they spent so much time developing? If the WoW team itself earnestly believed that selling high-level characters was a good thing for the health of the game, they would simply offer a free avenue to skip the leveling process rather than charging for it.

If you simply follow the money, all of the stupid microtransactions they shoehorned into Classic had to have been mandated by people high up in Activision Blizzard’s corporate offices, not on the ground where the game is being developed.

I have a very hard time believing that there’s some shadowy conspiracy to actively make the game “worse” (in some peoples’ opinions) to push more restricted one-time sales than to simply allow people to buy as many as they liked. After all, the people who buy characters are the very same people who would sit AFK at an instance portal rather than playing the game.

The people who want dungeon finder and the people who would literally pay to avoid playing the game they pay a sub for (lmao) are not one and the same.

Awesome, then don’t use RDF right?

If anything having RDF in the game would sort people out to where the people in LFG would be of like mind of yourself. Weed people out even.

RDF would be dope

If they add RDF, there would be taking out LFG.

Like they did in retail right? right?

The retail tools do not compete with each other for the same activity, right? Right?

They are made to do the same thing. Connect players for dungeons.

Mythic players run LFG. Other players doing normals etc run RDF.

Two tools for two different activities, something your generalized response doesn’t want to admit.

so in the retail LFG tool right now, there are no options for anything other than mythics? That there are no options to publish a group for normals or heroics? I highly doubt that. The tools are designed to do the same thing, this was the case prior to mythics being a thing.
Players still ran dungeons manually after RDF. One system does not remove the other, that thinking is way to limited and binary
