Standard raid UI

I use the standard blizzard UI to heal, and there’s a delay between clicking different frames. I swap to a addon unit frames and the problem is solved, and have no mouse issues in any other games. I have no idea what to do

EDIT: I don’t use any addons other than details, and when I disable that the problem is still there. I literally use avoid using addons to not have UI issues. This is extremely frustrating lmao.

The way you replicate this is simply by clicking back and forth on the unit frames at a relatively quickly place for a few seconds. The delay should be extremely noticeable, and other players are having the same issues I am.

While using the default UI raid frames, there is a delay between the new target receiving the heal after quickly switching between new friendly targets and I am able to consistently reproduce this issue. It did not exist prior to 9.2. This issue is consistent across multiple characters and multiple servers in different server clusters.

This is 100% something related to raid frame changes that occurred from 9.2 or something related to the new click to heal addition. Please fix this I am losing arena games because of it.

I too have been experiencing the exact issue. It’s very tilting casting my spells on the wrong target. because my click wouldn’t register.

Yeah at first I thought that it was me making mistakes but then someone else told me they were experiencing the same problem.

Just adding my experience here as well. Since the 9.2 patch hit, when in a party or raid using default blizzard raid-style frames, I experience a delay when switching targets. If I have one player targeted and then switch targets by clicking the raid frame and then immediately cast a spell, the spell frequently casts on the previous target as opposed to the new target. This is absolutely game breaking. This happens when running add-ons and when not running a single add-on. Please help.

The same is happening to me. When quickly switch targets within the raid frames, the cast goes to the old target.
This is not happening to people using addons instead of the original raid frames.
Most likely related with 9.2 feature Click Cast Bindings

Just another issue to add to the list why I refuse to use Blizzard UI. I use an addon UI and healing setup which is much more reliable and intuitive. Blizzard just can’t seem to understand they need to fix their bugs instead of ignoring them.

Omg, I thought it was just me or my mouse dying. U just saved me $$$

I specifically use mostly default UI for this exact reason.

It is now March 7th, 2022, I’m checking in yet again and the delay between targeting a new player using default raid frames and the healing spells going off for that newly targeted player still exists.

Have they fixed this issue yet?

This issue has persisted since 9.2 went live. No fix that I’ve experienced.

They probably won’t fix it till 10.2
