- Major Excavation interface (which still has a typo - ExcavationS needs the S deleted) says “Stormbringer’s Runed Citrine” is available. However, the only gem you can get is Windsinger’s Runed Citrine, if you get a gem at all.
- Stalagnarok still throws you out of the cave. We were thrown out twice in a row, this last time. First, he threw us out at maybe 1% health and reset to full health, but the cave was still open. We ran back in to kill him. The second time, he threw us out but didn’t reset his health, and the cave was still open, so we were able to kill him.

I killed him like 3x in a row and just flat didn’t get completion credit for any citrines… was able to loot him though

I just had it break before we even pulled him. This event is bugged beyond all belief. It’s kind of hard to imagine how it released in this state, and how it’s still in this state.

From what I remember it was fine on launch its when they patched out timegate on gems that it bugged out

First of all, whoever at Blizzard decided to give us another borrowed power ring after the Onyx Amulet borrowed power garbage.
Fire them.
Get rid of them now, they’re bad at their job. All these promises of no more borrowed power items, and here we are, with more borrowed power half cooked content.
The event is bugged, the best gems come off of this event. Just put the gems at the turtle vendor and chalk this up as a huge L. Roll some heads at the offices, stop putting out garbage product.

I think its more than two ways. Whatever the number is, the point is most kills will not result in a gem dropping. I’ve seen various theories, I buy the one about him moving outside the narrowly drawn quest area. Also everyone screams at me to dismiss my pet, which I do, but would be nice if people didn’t have to worry about that.
I havent had him reset or kick anyone out of the cave yet but even without him leaving the cave area i’ve seen the bonus objective despawn mid pull, meaning no gem reward when he was dead and lootable.
Run it a couple times now and the only successful one was where a monk tanked him in by the left wall and everyone else was in the center of the cave. Its really annoying since most people bis gem are locked behind this one excavation.
I was able to get the gem. it seems he bugs out if he charges near the entrance. A group of us pulled him to the back corner and made sure he doesn’t charge anywhere near the entrance and sure enough, when he died. The gem dropped.

Tanked him in middle of cave, and event despawned for no reason whith boss not moving away form middle of cave.
killed him 5-6 times and same things heppens the event despawns while boss is still alive.

His bonus objective now clears consistently while fighting him for no reason. Between this major bug and the ring being terrible on launch Siren’s Isle has crushed my spirit.

looks to be the back of the cave and certain areas back there clears the quest perhaps move him forward or the left? i tried the back thing again and no gem but first time it worked, but i do recall when the gem did drop. he charged the left side of the cave from entrance when he dropped
