Classicwow on reddit started a new survey and Stalagg is polling ahead of Herod as more populated. Thoughts? Did we push too hard for people to go off Herod or has Blizzard just not provided enough servers?

Herod still shows as Full and Stalagg shows as High so your answer is that Reddit polls aren’t accurate

Obviously, but it was concerning to see it higher than Herod and staying that way so far. The other survey people were using to tell A/H pops. Maybe also these people plan on Stalagg on launch and have yet to pay for their sub?
All it measures is population activity on reddit…
People who roll on Stalagg are probably your more active reddit users, because a lot of those users are kept up to date to the known population issues and are more likely to organize a move online.
Stalagg will NEVER overcome the power of the true, supreme server, Herod.

Player engagement on open forums isn’t synonymous with community size. See Grobbulus. The % of their community engagement outside of the game itself is very high, though their overall numbers are eclipsed by the other traditional PvP servers.

They literally just released this poll today… You do realize people will have to come home and open reddit and decide whether or not they will answer an online poll before we can start to call these numbers even slightly useful.
Herod is so full, Blizzard transferred my characters to another realm.
They are getting desperate with these attempts to dethrone the King of all servers: Herod.
For sure, I’m glad they posted a new one with the new servers as well. It will be interesting to see what happens on launch with the servers. And even long term, which server will end up with the most population? Maybe even queues still?
You don’t see Blizz commenting about a +10000 que for Stallag. You think that reddit knows something about the servers that Blizz doesn’t know?

Blizz definitely needs more servers.
I seriously doubt a survey on reddit is an great metric to go by. I didn’t fill it out and wonder how many other didn’t either.
We may not overcome it … But most of use will be lvl 15 to 20 before you ever get out of Q …
Maybe who knows? The Reddit survey could be including those who have yet to sub but plan on picking Stalagg on launch. It also could be a bunch of bologna. 6 servers are listed to have severe queues on launch now. Stalagg is at high atm but maybe it’ll become full on launch with queues just as bad.
Blizzard’s sample is biased towards retail players. Reddits sample is biased towards redditors. What happens when vanilla fans resub is anyone’s guess.
